I would love to hear what you think about this kitchen. I think I really do like it and I can't quite put my finger on why. I think it's the mix of styles all rolled into one lovely space. Perhaps its the flooring, perhaps it's the glorious white feel or perhaps it's the lovely outdoor space that glistens in the back ground. Not quite sure. I can imagine though it absolutely wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea even though it is a relatively simple design and look.
Like it or not really getting it? Kellie x
ooo yes i love. I think it is the mix of fresh white cabinetry and modern elements - the industrial pipes and flooring (I think that is polished concrete or epoxied concrete). Of course all that natural light is a big plus too!
ReplyDeleteLove!

ok that is kitchen bliss........love it.
ReplyDeleteHere's what I like:
ReplyDelete*The color palette.
*The juxtaposition of the modern elements of ducting, stainless, and concrete flooring with the soft traditional wood cabinetry.
*The lighting.
*The addition of flowers and antiques.
Ok, so I just described the whole room. I like it. :)
Hi darling Kellie,
ReplyDeleteI like the "lofty" ceiling but I think the light coming from those doors is what gets me. Beautiful space.
Maybe the hard industrial components alongside the pretty pinks and blues as well? No matter why..wouldn't it be a joy to work in!
ReplyDeleteI love all white kitchens. They look so crisp!
ReplyDeletelove the flooring and the space...love this kitchen Xx
ReplyDeleteI think it's the gorgeous light streaming in that makes it so enticing. I do love it. Whenever I look at a photograph of a kitchen, I try to imagine myself actually spending an afternoon cooking there. This one definitely passes that test with flying colours!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Not sure I could actually live with the big industrial pipe overhead (imagine the dust!) but the rest is to die for.

Looovve it. I'm all about the light, light, light. And how clean it looks. Matched with the industrial, unfinished, loft-like ceiling! The floors too. Sigh...back to my itty bitty kitchen I go:)
ReplyDeleteLove it!! I love the white with little pops of coulour and don;t mind the industrial parts either. Just gorgeous:) Wishing you a wonderful day Kellie ~ Tina xx
ReplyDeleteI like the lighting in the kitchen and I think it is really fresh and pretty looking! I think it might be lacking a little bit of color though, I would put a little bit of blue or pink in it. :)
ReplyDeletetotally love it Kellie. Classic with an edge. Polished concrete always gets me, every time.jx
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteI was happy that you liked my post about lace. Have a great Wednesday!

I love it... so much space and light!!
ReplyDeleteLove it...and I think you are most probably drawn to it because it encompasses all the elements you probably gravitate towards...light..white..space...simplicity...or at least I do..tee hee hee x
ReplyDeleteIts definetly the windows! But I also love the restaurant style fridge & the floors.
ReplyDeleteOh I love it. You're so right.. it's the mix-
ReplyDeletexoxo
I adore the floor and the white walls...so so pretty. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love it. I think it's the white feel and it's organised well. It looks like such a great place to cook.
ReplyDeletei like it!
ReplyDeleteit has a touch of 'the industrial' which i love.
the glass wall to the garden is fabulous as well.
great kitchen!

I really like it because of it's clean lines and open feel.
ReplyDeleteI am loving it, the white island bench and the exposed steel pipes make it a little industrial as well.
ReplyDeletei love it!!! places where a lot of cooking take place should look clean and refreshing just like that!
ReplyDeleteI love how simple it is.
ReplyDeleteIt's white with an industrial feel. So now....
ReplyDeleteGreat pic!
AK.
I like the mix of industrial with the traditional...mostly it's about the light! It seems like it would be an easy kitchen to work in as well. You should have it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous kitchen!! I'd opt for wooden floorboards though to give a bit more warmth but I love every other aspect of this kitchen :)
ReplyDeleteThere's not much NOT to love in that kitchen - love the floors, the cabinetry, the island in the middle and the two long working spaces either side, adore the bench tops and the beckon from outside is delightful!
ReplyDeleteI love how big and open it feels and the clever mix of country and modern with a dash of industrial. Fabulous kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI love it Kellie. I like the flooring, the white ceiling, the white central isle and its so big and comfortable... great find! xo
ReplyDeletep.s. lucky girl with those flowers!
I like that kitchen! For me, I love how open it is. When I cook, smells get stuck in one area and I like for the kitchen to have a high ceiling. It also has great natural lighting. And instead of a wall being at the end, you have doors leading outside to a patio? Well whatever that is, you can see outside so well while cooking
ReplyDeleteI think you are right about what a great mix it is! I love all the sunlight pouring through, and I love the contrast of the industrial piping against the crisp white kitchen. Beautiful and different!
ReplyDeleteSo industrial, chic and open. It feels light and bright and completely welcoming...thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeletethat looks great, I love the white tolix chair!
