I adore the exposed shelves, gorgeous plates out in all their glory for the world to see. I have my mother in my ear, telling me its terribly impractical but i couldnt care less, its creates such a wonderful mood, full of warm and delightfulness! Have you rebelled at all with your mum's sense of practicality as well?

How beautiful is wallpaper behind stunning glassware, we are still thinking whether a change of home is something we should do, i'd love something old, and an old home would be gorgeous with this kind of detail... And what's best is that you would only need a roll!

I saw this stunning kitchen over at Amanda's blog... We have been starting to wonder whether we have outgrown the size of our home and whether we need something bigger. Im a bit emotionally torn. A kitchen and a lamp (plus a shade)

Loving that gorgeous yellow wallpaper and that kitchen is absolutely gorgeous as well. I dream for a large kitchen where I don't have to move everything in and out to get a saucepan out of a drawer! On another happy note, a lovely customer sent me this picture of her lamp and shade - so gorgeous! Makes me happy seeing gorgeous things from the store being loved in other people's homes! Kellie x

Kitchen dreams

Isn't this kitchen just angelic! Whilst I do love a bit of colour, im quite impartial to a crisp and white looking kitchen that reflects the light beautifully. Kind of like, bridal like fashion in a kitchen! Our kitchen is more on the cream side and whilst it's tidy and still clean looking, the colour isnt as clean as I would like it. Never mind, next home we hope to do everything from scratch and make it just as we please. Kellie xx

Kitchen ideas...

I spotted this gorgeous dessert and thought, I have to try it! So simple and it looks, well just stunning. Perhaps I could try some strawberries or raspberries as an alternative!

Long weekend joy

For all my Australian readers did you have a lovely long weekend? My Monday was perfect! I delicious brunch, a beautiful sun filled day and a spot of shopping. Then I finished the day with tidying our bedroom. The thing with me is that it isn't messy on the outside, the mess and disorder is hidden in our drawers and wardrobe. I try so hard being tidy but it just doesn't last.

As crazy as it sounds, I adore cleaning our bedroom. I find clothing I haven't seen for a while, sometimes a voucher or two i misplaced and things like lip glosses that i put away somewhere and just forgot about. Still I love the feeling of everything being in order (even if it's just for a little while). Kellie xx

Putting my finger on it...

I would love to hear what you think about this kitchen. I think I really do like it and I can't quite put my finger on why. I think it's the mix of styles all rolled into one lovely space. Perhaps its the flooring, perhaps it's the glorious white feel or perhaps it's the lovely outdoor space that glistens in the back ground. Not quite sure. I can imagine though it absolutely wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea even though it is a relatively simple design and look.

Another job nearly ticked off the list

I was very excited to finally hear my sample floorboards are on their way to us. I have chosen a gorgeous dark chocolate brown colour that I will share with you all as soon as it lands in my hands! They are similar to those in the pictures, possibly a little darker - just like a coffee bean.

They have a reasonable amount of gloss on them to give them a glamourous, stylish look but not too much that they will show up every scratch and bump. And, anyone who knows me is well aware of how clumsy and accident prone I am.
