Animal print - accessory obsession!

Honestly, I don't know what is with me at the moment, but I cannot, get enough of animal print! Not so much for interiors, but fashion accessories like shoes and bags - im absolutely obsessed... I have been eying off a pair of animal print shoes for a while on Wardrobe.com and since this find, I just am loving it more and more ... The funny thing though with animal print with me, my obsession is likely to disappear at the drop of a hat (hence why I havent taken the plunge with shoes, Im likely to be over them in a flash!). Anyone get hot and cold with certain fashion pieces too? Kellie xx

Colourful pleasure

Such a simple image but to me, represents a perfect picture. Colour and prints are so important to me in a room, no matter whether it's indoors or outdoors. The kind that make you look and think springtime all year round. Kellie X

White or Gold? Gold or White?

I was very lucky to have received this gorgeous print from Nicole! I love the windows, the flowers, the colours of the pot plants and how they graciously hang over the balcony. I have decided that this would be a beautiful gift for someone special but i cannot say who as they will then know!!

I cannot decide between which frame is should choose. I want something grand, ornate and fabulous. So.... I pose this question - white or gold??????

jkldesign - what a talented artist!

I was browsing through the glorious Esty and came across these beautiful artworks by Leigh, owner and artist of jkldesign. Trusty Google then found me Leigh's lovely blog which really showed me the depth and diversity of Leigh's talent.

I particularly love the femininity, strength and beauty of Leigh's creations.

Leigh's blog also features an interview she did with Ofifteen magazine and i smiled when i learned that Leigh loves to paint in her kitchen! I was also inspired to read that Leigh's artwork is influenced by who she is as a person, "I feel that I want to create from my emotions and experiences from my life and put it into my work. Sometimes it is in a small detail, but all of what I put out comes from within" . Read this fabulous interview here. 

The use of feminine and dramatic colour brings these artworks to life. I hope to be able to share this beautiful art with our clients.

I love... Posters!

Im really fond of great prints. They are such an easy and inexpensive way to make a room or wall go from bland to so very interesting! I love to mix up my colours and designs, they can be framed or put on the wall as is.

 

I recently saw one of these gorgeous prints on the Coco + Kelley hitlist. After checking out their website, and i absolutely adore the entire Celebrity collection at David Downtown . So stylish and very glamourous.

 

Madebygirl prints always tickle my fancy (and of course there is the great Madebygirl Blog too). 

 

Papaya always offers an array of beautiful images with divine colours. I had trouble selecting my favourite prints!

Mmmmm Print Dolls

I do love these designs from Print Dolls even though recently i have seen some not so lovely versions popping up in stores around Sydney. The Pyrmont one is very close to my heart and includes my home Drummoyne!!!

Another print... Florence Broadhurst framed
