Happenings....

Here are a couple of pretty sample cushions that I had made. Such gorgeous and vibrant prints which look very pretty around the house. Lily and Molly appear to quite like them too...

In other very exciting news those are some furniture samples that are on their way to Sydney and hopefully, all going well should get to me early next week. Cannot wait to see them !! Kellie xx

I adore this stunning look from Jason Wu's recent collection. Im not sure if its the fabulous pink fabric, the neon lips or just the absolutely divine texture of the skirt. Perhaps I just love the entire look. Amazing! Kellie xx

Mixed with geometrics...

Fabulous geometric cushions just arrived in store with gorgeous neon piping, looking fabulous with stunningly bright, happy cushions. Delightful!

On the weather front, i'm completely over this freezing cold weather and we aren't even midway through July! Counting down the days til Spring.

Lots of bamboo!

Such a lovely way to start the week, gorgeous new fabrics made into pretty new cushions! I do love geometric with floral prints, it makes for such a beautiful combination.

Any exciting plans for the week? It's a busy week planned here at Ada & Darcy headquarters with lots of exciting things being developed over the coming months.

There was some technical issues last week on the e-boutique so good news is the sale has been extended for a few more days. Kellie xx

Whats on...

Working on a few projects today and this weekend! Love working with beautiful textiles. Also very excited some of this beautiful fabric will be used in some furniture pieces for the store! Can't wait to see them... Have a beautiful weekend everyone! Kellie xx

Darling fabric selection...

I'm working on a decorating project for a dear customer who was looking for something pretty and floral, with a touch of neutral to go with her beautiful ticking stripe sofa. I just adored these beautiful fabrics so much I had to get a little extra for some pretty cushions for the boutique. Also arriving is the lemon ginger jar, white ginger jar and fabulous turquoise ceramic stool. Ah this photo... Loving everything in it from the fabrics, the detailing on the curtain, the stool the darling feel. Perfection! And effortless! Happy Thursday! More velvet details...

I still have a velvet obsession and current sourcing some lovely fabric to make delightful pillows for my shop in the most delicious colours. It's funny though, I was chatting with someone the other day who said they have a fear of touching velvet because of the texture and even the thought of it gives them the shivers! They compared velvet to the skin on a peach! For me, it's just so luxurious, soft and glamourous, with a feather insert, it just is a treat in a living space! Kellie xx

I'm really looking forward to the weekend, I don't really have a lot planned and these are my favourite kinds of weekends. The type where you can decide at the last minute to head out for dinner, or perhaps spend an hour or so at the markets. Everything is spontaneous. Have a lovely one. Kellie xx

Prints, fashion and colour

It's quite a divine combination isn't it, turquoise, orange, white with a tad of a brown animal print. I must say, it isn't something I would tend to do for myself but it appeals to me nonetheless!
