One day to be an artist

I have always wished I could paint, sadly I lack in that skill. I can't imagine how amazing it would be to be able to come home after a stressful day and rewind by getting out the paintbrushes and pulling a master piece together. And, how rewarding would it be to have amazing art, hanging all through your home, knowing it had been created from scratch by yourself!

In the meantime, I will sit back and admire this gorgeous work from Jane Thill Studio... So very stylish and divine attention to detail! Kellie xx

Cushion + Frill = Prettiness!

Being a girly girl through and through, i was delighted to receive an email about these stunning cushions. To be honest, if something has a frill on it, i'm sold - cushion, top, skirt, shoes. You name it, i'll love it! These pretty french inspired cushions are from a lovely designer in Melbourne and I must say these little beauties are priced so well too. A Plum Pretty Sugar kind of day...

I have to say I just love the Plum Pretty Sugar range! The prints are divine and the styles of just gorgeous. As well as beauties such as these they also have beautiful lounge pants that I just adore. When i'm at home, I wear lounge pants just like those all the time. Who needs jeans when you can wear gorgeous prints and feel so comfortable and relaxed at the same time...

I am delighted to let you all know since I just love Plum Pretty Sugar so much (I posted about it here months and months ago too) and so happy to share Charlotte's gorgeous designs with you all, we have teamed up for a giveaway in the coming weeks. A Schmooks wall kind of idea

I spotted these designs on the weekend at the Handmade Market. Aren't they fabulous. Imagine these babies framed up in something white and glossy, clustered on a wall. Divine. And incredibly affordable. For my lovely international readers as well as my local ones, you don't need to attend the market just to see them... They are also available at the Schmooks Esty store. xx

Something bright in the mail...

These pretty little lovelies arrived from this Esty Store. I promise to show you them looking all bright and new on our lounge. I did however find a little certain puppy dog named Molly chewing on the little cream pom poms on the top cover. I definitely won't be leaving it in anyone's reach whilst I head off to work this morning as i'll absolutely come home and the little detailing will be shredded across the house!! Kellie xx

Stationary or art?

I didn't really used to appreciate cards although, my best friend Kate, was always one for buying lovely cards when she spotted them and would save them up for a special, rainy day. Now though, I am starting to see them in the same light as Kate. They say alot. I do love the idea of them being a piece of art, you want them to be special, right? Kellie xx

How adorable are these vase owls! I would love one in every colour. So very cute.
