Spotted these gorgeous french antique items at one of my favourite stores near our home. So many stunning pieces to take home and love! I'm particularly loving that ottoman - incredibly beautiful and gorgeous velvet... Kellie xx

Recent antique spotting (& hinting)...
Here are some of my recent favourite pieces I recently saw at an antique store around the corner of my home. How gorgeous would that chair and commode be with a gorgeous touch of bright paint along with a delightful print on that chair! So many places in my home these would work wonderfully (hint hint Luke if you are reading!?) Kellie xxx

A camera-less weekend but a gorgeous find...
I had a lovely weekend, it poured with rain in the car all the way to Berry Friday night and I was thinking it was going to be a horrible wet weekend and we would be stuck inside without much to do. Instead the weather turned out to be lovely and there was plenty of opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous shops and delightful places to eat.
Unfortunately I left home with a flat camera battery (oops I know) but I did however find a gorgeous ginger jar at the monthly Berry markets. Its hiding away in that first shot, then in the second, its shining away in all it's glory and you can see the detail so well. The gorgeous blue with the gold is so pretty and it will look delightful with a bunch of flowers... I'm off to the flower markets this week so I'll take a picture of it as a vase this weekend! Vintage styling at it's pretty best!
What a fabulous vintage wedding. Just shows that with a imagination and a bit of styling something so simple can work so magically well.
And how divine is that table setting! What a great way to entertain friends during a pretty party.
I actually saw this last night on someone else's fabulous blog, unfortunately I lost the link to your blog - if it was you, please do let me know and i'd be delighted to link back to you! Kellie xx
Ps. Thank you to Sharon who reminded where I saw this gorgeous wedding! It was Green Wedding Shoes and Little Bits of Lovely. Ahhhh I can sleep better knowing that is all sorted. Thank you Sharon. xx

Needing a good clean...
My Mum is a lover of all things new, me, well I like a bit of both. Imagine my delight when she remembered she had stored a whole lot of vintage china and silverware from her Great Uncle's home that she really wasn't that interested in keeping for herself. She must of somehow known one day this would be right up my alley as she kept it all for me for years and years...
It's definitely not the kind of thing Mum would use to style her home with and was delighted when I was over the moon to see it loved in our little place. Three gorgeous little silver jugs are now gleaming in my home. Each of these were so black from not being cleaned for years and years but just with a little love and silver cleaner, they have come up beautifully.
I have shown you one here and will share the others with you all shortly. Kellie xx

A vintage day - breakfast this time...
Seems I have vintage on my mind today. Loved this fabulous breakfast and all the divine vessels found all over the table. I do love pancakes - maple syrup and ice cream for me. Oh and make that whipped butter too, that's actually double butter please. YUM! Kellie x

A project over time...
I adore this look, bits and pieces all thrown together effortlessly. And, what I like most about it is that you cannot just decide to pull it together one day. All those lovely little things needed to be collected over time, found here and there to make the final masterpiece. A touch of this and a tad of that - nothing really matching of course but works in together like it was meant to be... Kellie xx

Weekend plans...
I'll be heading off to my favourite Sydney antique haunt full of fabulous finds at fabulous prices this Saturday! I spotted a gorgeous chair that I am going to pick up this week, it needs a little face lift but my Mum will adore the final outcome. Oh and perhaps a little console for me - we'll just have to see!
Also my lovely sister in law Nicole flys in from Toowoomba this evening so i'll be spending a fabulous weekend with her too. Shame her husband Stephen and three divine children can't make it this time but we'll be catching up with them all in April when we fly to Brisbane which I am very much looking forward to... More lovely vintage finds...
Here are some more gorgeous finds from the fabulous vintage store near my place. I love how they have all their wonderful things displayed outside the shop so all the passers by can see and admire it all. They always have new things too. Here are my recent favourites...
If only I had the room for something so stylish in our place!
I am always attracted to this style of chandelier. The more sparkle the better I say!
What a stunning french painted screen and such gorgeous chairs to match!!

Cynthia Rowley's Fabulous Manhattan Home
I was looking through Elle Decor and found these beautiful images of the designer Cynthia Rowley's home.
The use of prints, colour and floral is endearing and i certainly wouldn't mind those gorgeous chairs for my home! The different textures ooze elegance yet at the same time is quirky and distinct!

Property Styling

My talented (and bestest) friend Kate from Advantage Property Styling has sent through some of her recent work.
I particularly love the fabulous old case and the striped pillow, the minimal furniture and clutter all adds to the impact. The french chair also oozes elegance and sophistication.
