I saw this over at Sterling Style and there were some interesting tips on staying creative. I'm an expert at number 1 and need to work on 6 more - i really don't like it when things go wrong!

Here is where my mind is at this morning.

Firstly loving this mirror. How stunning would it be painted in a gorgeous, high gloss colour...



A lovely customer asked for some art ideas for a gorgeous little nook in her home, i adore this beautiful look from Kerri with stunning gold frames...



I adore how effortless and relaxed this room is...



In other lovely finds, I spotted this Outdoor Room Magazine feature showing gorgeous glassware, plates, Moroccan Pouffes, robes and bowls from the store!





And pretty other things in July Shop Til You Drop - the animal print cushion and pink milk bottle.

Pure white things...

Lots of things to think about today; more than a handful of planned things to attend to. I'd just love to spend part of my day working from bed... Perhaps next time I should consider a comfortable laptop to lounge around in... Whilst running around today, also on my mind is pretty pure and white things; I can't stop thinking about this Halston Heritage dress, thinking about lovely cherry blossoms and incorporating these into some wonderful and exciting changes I have planned in the near future for A&D and sourcing some pretty lighting options for a client. Pretty things

Seems im having lots of colourful thoughts today....

Loving this stunning arranagements. My favourite flowers are sprint time ones, into winter which means we are closer to the warmer months! Nothing like looking forward to gorgeous blooms.

If i was ever to wear pants... They'd have to be fabulous ones like this. Good excuse to buy the bag too! Very excited about my Hong Kong trip that is coming up but being almost 6ft all and size 41 feet, im thinking I wont be too lucky in the fashion stakes...

Love this gorgeous art. Beautiful colours. Such a wonderful, happy feel. And so flexible in its tones. Perfection!

Bad habits

Having a mother that has paperwork and organisation down to a fine art, I am almost the exact opposite and seriously struggle. It just doesnt interest me. Right now im feeling totally overwhelmed and procrastinating. And, its June - now thats a serious sign I need to get myself into order. Any solutions or suggestions on how to get myself sorted or is the a very common issue!? Kellie x

Loved seeing the gorgeous aqua carver chair in this month's Madison magazine looking very pretty indeed.



How beautiful is wallpaper behind stunning glassware, we are still thinking whether a change of home is something we should do, i'd love something old, and an old home would be gorgeous with this kind of detail... And what's best is that you would only need a roll!

The odd couple

That's my Mum and I. The odd couple.

I just realised... I just liked that picture and it made me laugh! Neither represents my darling Mum or I haha!

Mum likes neutrals, I like brights. The half is glass empty in Mum's eye's, the glass is half full in mine. Mum thinks of every detail first, I worry about the details later...

It's amazing how two people, so close, could be so different. We had another of those conversations last night, my great idea to me, would lead to 'financial ruin' in Mum's eyes. How funny.

Made me think, do you always take the advice of others or just give it shot? Kellie xx

Thoughts on Autumn...

Whilst it was definitely a beautiful warm day in Sydney yesterday, the weather is definitely getting cooler. The lovely Charlotta from Space for Inspiration asked me what I thought about the changing season and what's inspiring me as I move into the colder months... Read it all here xx

Lemon thoughts

Dreams

There is something so exciting and enticing to owning a 'bricks and mortar' shop, seeing the gorgeous Faire Frou Frou's new look makes me all the more exciting. Animal print - accessory obsession!

Honestly, I don't know what is with me at the moment, but I cannot, get enough of animal print! Not so much for interiors, but fashion accessories like shoes and bags - im absolutely obsessed... I have been eying off a pair of animal print shoes for a while on Wardrobe.com and since this find, I just am loving it more and more ... The funny thing though with animal print with me, my obsession is likely to disappear at the drop of a hat (hence why I havent taken the plunge with shoes, Im likely to be over them in a flash!). Anyone get hot and cold with certain fashion pieces too? Kellie xx

People kind of inspiration!

Seems there are lots of varying opinions on the latest Lonny Magazine... Some good, some mediocre, some well, quite direct! Nonetheless, I do admire the team's work and their innovation to create the magazine is inspiring regardless of whether the issue was up your alley or not. I do love to read about entrepreneurs, I have always found throwing myself outside my comfort zone to be a challenge, so hearing about people leading with innovation inspiring indeed! Kellie xx
