A delicious treat, or, two...

Having attempted macarons myself and the work that goes into them, i realised i may as well just purchase these from the experts... Fortunately one of the Adriano ZumBo patisseries are just a few mins away from our home {whilst i suspect my waistline does not like this too much}. We choose mint and chestnut, strawberries and cream, vanilla and salted caramel.... Just too delicious. The salted caramel are my favourite, i can never, ever seem to get enough of caramel! Sunday morning delight

How to spend a Sunday morning? Heading off to my favourite patisserie of course!

I walk in and the lovely staff know my order - a weak long black and french vanilla tart. Hmmm, maybe a custard danish for later too - it is dusted with so much icing sugar that ends up all across my face and in my hair!

Ah then a few laps around the block to work it off those hips later on. Still it was worth it... Kellie xx

Just for the record...

My glamourous dinner friday night with lots of yummy wine wasn't to be. The tummy bug I thought had gone hadn't, so to my lovely readers who were concerned about my sore head Saturday morning didn't even go close to happening! So, this Sunday morning, Nicole and I are heading off to one of my favourite patisseries. Perhaps russian roulette with my tummy but i'm up for the risk. No one feel sorry for me haha!! Kellie x

Of course if I was heading off in a gorgeous caravan full of lovely cupcakes I would be in heaven. Why is it though, that my cupcakes never look that perfect. Still it's something to aim for!

Just a little of time and detail...

Such magical colours! These sugar cubes are all hand made at Such Pretty Things. You know, I love the look of tiny, elegant delights such as this although as I have such poor patience (and at times attention to detail), creating such little beauties seems like such a challenge. Perhaps though, on a rainy day, I should give it a shot. Any one else suffer from the disorder of serious lack of patience?! Kellie xx

Need a new baker to work with you? Perhaps not but Mum's cupcakes taste yummy and they do kind of look pretty even though they are definitely not shop quality! Still a girl has to give it her best shot doesn't she?

Bees and ribbon.....

Generally i am not a yellow kind of girl, i think i have changed. Firstly there are the cakes and lollies, the ribbon is stunning and the little bees... Well it's all just too fabulous if you ask me.
