Bits & bobs...

Here is where my mind is at this morning.

Firstly loving this mirror. How stunning would it be painted in a gorgeous, high gloss colour...

Unexpectedly relaxing...

Love this room. You generally wouldn't expect this space to have such a lounging around, comfortable look but it does and works so well. I do love that giant large mirror too! Kellie xx

The OTT look!

These shots just ooze prettiness and spring time bliss. I do quite love the look of flowers for the sake of flowers, it makes it all the more glamourous for me. These spaces are so relaxed as well, charming and relaxing. Kellie xx

Green with envy!

Such a lovely space and anything with a stripe, gets my vote. Im quite loving this kind of green at the moment, a typical apple green! It's quite soothing and calming as well as stylish. Kellie xx

Candy pink - just a little!

For those who like a little, pink, but not too much, this is for you! Just a teeny, weeny pop of candy pink to keep your heat warm. It's quite a lovely room isnt it, and those black chairs are such a surprising but delightful look in the space.

Aren't peonies just amazing as well. Being August in Australia, it's just a few more months before I can have a few weeks of heaven. These are the weeks, I head to the flower markets early, with all the florists, just to try and get the prettiest, most gorgeous bunch! Kellie xx

Print on print

A divine example of throwing lovely printed textiles and a bright coat of paint into what may be otherwise considered a soft and neutral space. Kellie xx

A gorgeous bedroom and a familiar fabric!

What a gorgeous bedroom. I can't help but admire that stunning bed linen, headboard and gorgeous blooms. Of course, what I most adored was the stunning fabric on that table, familiar? Yep, it's the same one that i'll be using on my antique chair {here}! It's divine in this colour too isn't it... Kellie xx

A universal fabric...

You know, no matter how many times I see the Imperial Trellis fabric, I still adore it. It works a treat here with the white, glossy chairs. It always amazes me how it lends itself to so many styles and interiors but possibly, that's why it's such a stunning success isn't it? Kellie xx

Rooms & Dress = Lovely

All this Sydney rain over the last day has made me feel the need for some stylish interiors and gorgeous fashion. I cannot remember a time recently when it has rained like it did yesterday... Just didn't stop! Still, it's good for the gardens even if it makes my hair fuzzy and curly. Kellie xx

Meeting half way...

I am working on a little project for a client who's husband LOVES green! I have to say I don't mind a mint green but olive green is a colour I find a little harder to work into the home. I thought this was a gorgeous inspiration of working with green and mixing it in with some gorgeous purples, pinks and white. This sort of inspiration will meet the wife with the husband half way! Natural light at it's best!

I love nothing more than a home full of natural light. This stunning home sits so well with me as not only does the sunlight pour through at every opportunity, it has a fun, vibrant tone and makes use of it's orignal beauty. Being a lover of pink, i'm drawn to the various tones of pink, used inside and out and that plum velvet sofa is magical! I have a lovely chair at home that i'm thinking covering in hot pink velvet - some seriously stunning inspiration! Kellie xx

Who ever said....

Blue and green could never be seen!? Look at those gorgeous cushions on that sparkling white chippendale chair - magnificent huh!? My mother still thinks that green and blue were never meant to be friends but i think they get on quite well. Speaking of friends... I could be the best of friends with that stunning sofa! Divine!! Classical elegance today

Monday morning is here and what I need to get me kickstarted for the week is a beautiful, soft, calm room with delightful fashion to match. Something bright and bold wasn't quite right today.

I have been telling Luke in our next home there are three things that are a must (that would most certainly be in the home of this lovely room featured):

1. Original timber floorboards
2. Original ceilings
3. Original fireplace

Something to ponder over during the week. Have a lovely one everyone! Kellie xx

A thought provoking space

I'm passionate about interesting and thought provoking things in a home. The type of space where on first look, you think how fabulous, then on a second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth look you notice more and more. You learn more about the space, the tiny little details and the bits that surprise you. The kind of space that is never quite finished and has room for more and more. Kellie xx
