Weekend....

What a lovely weekend! Heels and tulle Saturday night, darling designs off to lovely customers, chunky gold jewellery, my pantone chart (daily partner in crime), more popular cushions sold over the last week and colourful pens (whoever thought selecting colourful pens could be so hard in officeworks!?).

Chocolate brownies...

I made these delicious brownies for my lovely grandfather, whilst not too pretty to look at, they oozed chocolate and were out of this world. We had 3 pieces left to enjoy with coffee on the weekend whilst checking samples, making choices, checking off things on my to do list. Kellie xx

Weekend...

Here are a few snaps of my weekend. Loving the beautiful new peacock fabric that just arrived, it has a beautiful bold navy and white stripe on the underside which i adore! Also, there is Molly modelling my lovely new basket which is perfect for carrying around when picking lovely blooms at the flower markets - looks like Luke is out of a job (which he will be most pleased about!)

Before Christmas, when I posted about Lily and Molly's disastrous hair cuts, i received quite a few emails from lovely readers who were quite upset about it! I'm pleased to let everyone know that their fur is growing again, slowly, but definitely getting there. Here's are some shots of the puppies relaxing on our bed on the weekend.

Weekend....

I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was lovely, managed to pop in for a facial, take the girls to the beach for a swim and photographed the latest Samantha Robinson arrivals. So many fabulous prints, just loving the milkshake cups and bitter melon cups! Kellie xx

Weekend plans

Looking forward to spending this weekend relaxing with Lily, Molly and of course Luke. Perhaps we will pop down to the dog park so the girls can have a Puppicino... We actually ask for a takeaway would you believe as in the bowl, that they usually come in, all the other puppies end up drinking it!

Oh, and I bit of time with spreadsheet and budgets...

Something savoury...

Beautiful colourful birds...

Thank goodness for my new slippers otherwise my toes would have frozen all weekend! How was your weekend? Mine was rather relaxing, with nothing booked in - perfection. We are currently planning a holiday to Hong Kong so wasted way too much time looking at accommodation options online. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on what we should do?

In other news, those gorgeous colourful decorative birds, fabulous pink lampbase and gorgeous ginger jars and vases just arrived in store... Kellie xx

Friday, updates and purchases

What a week! I'm extra relieved it's Friday. Tonight im off for a lovely dinner with Kate, Saturday lots of Ada & Darcy work putting some design concepts together for lovely clients - seems i've run out of hours this week! Definitely will be popping into the flower markets Saturday morning too, its been weeks since i've been and i'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms. Sunday though will be spent relaxing. Cant wait.

And in fashion news... Here's a couple of purchases that were made during the week.

1. A completely impractical but fabulous nonetheless feather jacket. LOVE. Such a fun accessory with jeans, dresses or skirts. Let's hope i dont wear it on a day where its raining.

2. A Whistles Carrie pleated skirt. The colour is outrageously beautiful, I saw it a while back and couldnt stop thinking about it so took the plunge.

Roses + roses...

Saturday morning I completely missed the alarm and ended up at the flower markets just as they were closing at 10.55am. I ran to my favourite flower man who gave me 36 roses for $10 - outrageous!! Here are just a few in darling Samantha Robinson vases and they are incredibly beautiful. Orange, lemon and pink - such a special combination.

I always ask him the same question when choosing my roses 'will these last til tomorrow', he often laughs and says they will last you a week! Gotta be sure and enjoy these little darlings for as long as possible. Kellie xx

Friday!

What an exhausting week! Suffering from a lack of sleep but happy and lovely customers has made it all worth while.

This weekend I have a facial and massage planned and a wonderful lunch by the water planned for Sunday. Perhaps even a visit to the flower markets Saturday morning to give our home a little razzle dazzle over the coming week, not sure what flowers will be out in bloom given its starting to get a bit colder in Sydney.

Summer Weather...

Geez, its still hot in Sydney! My lovely pink Prada sunglasses arrived just in time for the weekend. Lily and Molly are off to the doggy spa tomorrow, can you believe this, they have a dog pool there for them to swim in too - supervised of course and there are doggy life jackets!! Clearly they designed their business with crazy dog owners like myself in mind. Sunday is Luke's birthday so will be having a nice lunch with the family, by the water to hopefully enjoy a cool breeze that hasnt been present in sydney for a good while now.

Spoiled puppies...

This picture of Lily makes me laugh. She always has this poor me look on her face but, don't be fooled. She is spoiled beyond belief! A lovely customer purchased a pouffe for her gorgeous puppy. Why you ask?! Just so the little darling could make it onto the bed of course! That made my week, I couldnt help but tell my husband and he said, see these dogs get treated better than me! Kind of true... Lily is doing a gorgeous job here ffthough modelling my favourite Pagoda cushion and a new pretty lemon cushion I had made.

Two perfect models...

I needed to take a few pictures on the weekend and managed to get this gorgeous shot of Lily and Molly. The perfect models! I think it had something to do with the fact they had a big swim at the beach on the weekend so were a little tired therefore were happy just to sit and have their picture taken.

Saturday morning I found those amazing and huge roses on the weekend, and, the colour of them hasnt been modified at all - they are the most brightest and boldest shade of yellow I have seen! And they were sold in a bunch of 25 - outrageous! Was very happy with my purchase.

An interesting arrangement...

It must have been my lucky day at the markets on Saturday morning - I was given 3 bunches of flowers for free. Perhaps its because they see me wandering around there every week and wonder why on earth I dont just sleep in on a Saturday and feel sorry for me!

This week i took home some darling dahlias, hydrangeas, Julia roses and some David Austins (i'll show you those tomorrow). I quite like this arrangement below of the dahlias and hydrangeas -an interesting mix, one quite edgy and the other very rustic but i works so well and the colours are delightful together. Very unexpectedly beautiful, but like most things, it's always best this way... Kellie xx

Weekend happenings...

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My mine was very productive which has made me feel much more relaxed about Christmas. I managed to nearly do all of our Christmas shopping that, as of last week, was barely started. And we managed to do it in lightning fast time which was even better. We had a delicious dinner (pictures shown) last night and also took Lily and Molly for a swim at Pittwater during the day which they loved. They were beside themselves with excitement!

And, to top things off my newest delivery of Samantha Robinson beauties will arrive today - the first lot went very quickly, i'm very excited to have more and in different colours this time round.

More little 'one off' stunning cushions have been added to the store, the last ones sold very quickly! These ones are 40cm x 30cm and also include the delightful feather inserts to ensure they always look plump and pretty.

Flowers and arrivals...

Headed off to the flower markets this morning, the gorgeous peonies are out but sadly the ones that were left were all a bit sad looking. Instead, I found these beautiful David Austin roses who have found their place in our kitchen, their fragrance is beyond beautiful!

I also had an exciting day yesterday as my Samantha Robinson order arrived for the store... Will be available on Monday. A small but beautiful range, if it goes well, I will definitely add more before christmas! If there was something you are particularly interested in, please do let me know.
