New pretties!

What a wonderful weekend! Also spent time working on new things for Ada & Darcy... It's a little daunting when you feel you have so much to do and the days are ticking away! One second I think I have lots of time then the next thing i know, i barely have any time at all. Some gorgeous new things arrived for the store including some pretty bedding that is fabulous and well priced! All the gorgeous new arrivals are viewed {here}. Oh, and there's my gorgeous lamp and shade, had him with his gorgeous hat for a while now and realised he hadn't been shown! Have a beautiful Monday! Kellie xx

Happy Customer!

A very lovely and happy customer sent me this picture of her new lampshades and cushions. That turquoise floral is still a favourite of mine and looks so gorgeous with the striped frill.

Little lovelies looking for new homes...

I have a few gorgeous lamp bases on sale in the store, sadly their other buddies have all sold and there is just one left in these beautiful styles. I thought they deserved a gorgeous new home! Also there is a couple of white pouffes. Kellie xx

A bit of play time....

Moved some things around and have two of my favourite cushions back in my bedroom. Love having a bit of time to play! Loving that lamp and shade too.. Those spots on the lamp base are so delightful {faint in this shot}! Kind of makes me want to read more in bed {which I never do - i seem to spend too much time looking at blogs instead with all those pretty pictures}. Kellie xx

A lamp-ish heaven!

I had a fun night last night playing with gorgeous, bright, glossy ceramic lamps! Too many to choose from a might add... row after row of them. In every colour and style you could think of. Lamp heaven you might call it! Some for the upcoming shop and some, well maybe a couple for me. Kellie xx

Betting over a lamp....

I saw these poodle lamps when I was last in Brisbane visiting Anna's beautiful shop.

I should have purchased one when I was there but stupidly I didn't... I had a bet with my husband Luke when we were in Noosa, if I won I got the poodle lamp, if I lost - no poodle lamp for me.

LUCKILY I WON!! And Luke, ah hem, you owe me a fabulous lamp (and lampshade included)... You thought I had forgotten... Fingers crossed there is still one available. Otherwise it's... Double or nothing!! Kellie xx

Do you like my fabric choice?

I thought I would show you what I plan to do with the white lampshade that was on my favourite teapot lamp! Isn't the fabric just divine and a mix of such beautiful colours. I will be sending the lampshade off in the next couple of weeks to be given a stylish facelift. I promise to show you the end result which I hope will be just gorgeous. Kellie xx

Beautiful lampshades

Isn't that lampshade spectacular in this room. 

My gribe with Sydney, is the lack of unique lampshades and why i turn to my favourite Anthropologie for inspiration. I actually do adore that chair aswell, bold yet timeless, interesting yet classic. How sweet are the silk 3-D flowers on this Ibbie Shade, has the potential to be tacky but i love it here!!!  

Here are a few more lampshades to give me my lampshade fix.

Lampshades to me are like cushions, when you change them and swap them around they have such an impact but are so cost effective and long living. 

{Note to self, i MUST stock gorgeous lampshades, not boring ones i see everywhere}

A lamp that makes me happy!

I love this teapot lamp from Anthropologie, its uniqueness and quirkiness makes me smile. Its the kind of edition to a home that when someone visits, they would always comment on it! I have sent this to numerous friends who all have the same response - "how fabulous!".

I may need to make a purchase to cure my obsession....
