Beautiful Qld Home

The lovely Jane who has a gorgeous property in rural Queensland sent through these beautiful shots, you may recognise these from CountryStyle in which Jane and her delightful family were featured last January.

Just loved the recent vignette Jane sent through (bottom left) of Jane's new lampshade, the mexican throw is from Louise at Table Tonic and the fabulous lampbase is from the store. You can see lots of lovely Ada & Darcy things scattered throughout the shots. Beautiful.

And most of all, Jane is beyond lovely... xx

Working away with my two furry assistants who do a very good job. They always tell me i do a wonderful job as well... Relaxing and reading....

After a crazy week, i sat down this morning and had a read of the latest gorgeous issue of Adore. Absolutely adored this first space, full of interesting and delightful pieces. A stunning amount of character and pizazz!

I also noticed some gorgeous pieces from the store! The diving Darlington and Sedgewick cart, which, have been going bananas and there is only a couple of pieces left from the shipment!! Kellie xx

Weekend!

It seems as though life is a bit of whirlwind, flying by! Things have been really busy with lots of exciting things happening. The gorgeous new fabrics and cushions and candles shown at Life Instyle are just about ready and I cannot wait to get them out to everyone! These will be released at Ada & Darcy this week - exciting!!

In other news, over the past few months I have been working on some large projects one of which is going out this week. We spent hours and hours packing for this project there were boxes and boxes and boxes and it's finally leaving us... Can't wait to show you the pictures of the end result!

As you can see its also been a big weekend for Lily and Molly who were the most perfect assistants but need a rest on nothing less than the new sample cushions!

Oh, and just enough time to enjoy a cupcake...

Finally, i'm back! For the past few weeks Kate and I have been madly planning for the launch of mrs.darcy at Life Instyle Trade Show.

mrs.darcy is our brand new collection of textiles, furniture and lovely candles which is full of colour and darling prints. Also shown at Life Instyle was the fabulous Society Social range which was outrageously popular!

Raining & Pouring Cushions!

Where did the weekend go? This weekend felt like it flew by. Had a lovely breakfast with friends Saturday, managed to drop by to the hairdressers for a well needed colour, the puppies got beautified and spent lots and lots of time working on different things for the store.

Its wonderful to receive such a hugely increasing amount of lovely customers seeking decorating advice from all around the world, this is definitely one of the favourite parts of having the store. If anyone would like some assistance, just send an email to support@adaanddarcy.com.au.

Very, very excited as well to receive these gorgeous new cushion designs back from the sewing room. Delightful colours and they work so well together! Nothing like a new cushion to change the look of a room. All of these new designs can be viewed here.

Beautiful colourful birds...

Thank goodness for my new slippers otherwise my toes would have frozen all weekend! How was your weekend? Mine was rather relaxing, with nothing booked in - perfection. We are currently planning a holiday to Hong Kong so wasted way too much time looking at accommodation options online. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on what we should do?

In other news, those gorgeous colourful decorative birds, fabulous pink lampbase and gorgeous ginger jars and vases just arrived in store... Kellie xx

Ps. I raided Mum's rose garden, I completely slept through my visit to the flower markets Saturday. What on earth is happening to me!?

Things i love right now...

Here are some of the gorgeous things that I love from the store at the moment. Some are new to the store, others are old faithfuls. All of them though, I adore and they look so pretty together. So much colour to lift my spirits after what feels like another very busy and exhausting week. Loving those rugs too - that flower design is amazing and those darling bright ones are divine, especially beside a bed. Kellie xx

Something extra!

To all the lovely Mothers out there, I hope you had a wonderful Mothers Day yesterday! I spent a lovely day with my Mum and mother in law, we had a delicious lunch and lots of laughs.

In other exciting news, this week with every Q/K size quilt order, it will include a beautiful rosette cushion. This is offered for all beautiful quilts that are also on pre-order as they have been sold out - just waiting on more to arrive from our lovely supplier.

These quilts are so beautiful, I have one in the design shown as well as the rosette style, they are incredibly soft and cuddly and even better, they are just cleaned in the washing machine. Kellie xx

Things, new things and something fun...

I enjoyed the rain that steadily came down all day Sunday. For some reason I find rain so calming. It was makes me feel happy.

In other news, things have been busy at the store. A lovely customer was looking for some fun combinations in some stronger prints than my normal look so that was fun. Still lots of colour and cushions that can be mixed around the room from sofa, to occasional chair to the ottoman - perfectly practical!

LOVING these beautiful new pillowcases that just arrived.... Such a gorgeous frill. DIVINE!

And more stunning Rosette Quilts just came in too, these always sell out so fast so im really happy to have more in now... Available in blue, cream, olive, charcoal, lilac, duck egg blue, grey, cherry and white!

And even more exciting, lots of new colour Moroccan Pouffes just arrived as well as more new colours that are available to be ordered now. It's Monday morning and what better way to start the week than some stunning new cushions! That middle one was a design I had made for a client and the feedback was so positive I had a few extra made for the store as well.
