Dark and light

I just adore soft pastels layered over a dark sofa, black or navy, its creates such a glamorous space. Thinking about this look for our home, though, with our little puppies, who think it's their sofa, i'm not sure whether i could cope with it so perhaps a slip cover is a simple work around to keep it looking gorgeous, clean and tidy!

  2. In my case, I dream of having a beautiful white sofa but with my cats I don't know if I would go crazy trying to keep it clean. I guess slipcovers are the solution.

  3. I love this look! Those tables are perfectly styled! Too bad having a wild 10 month old makes it impossible to have my table ever look like that.

  9. I love the pink against the dark sofa! We've been adding pink to our homes for a color challenge, perfect timing to see this! I need to order that Chanel book, too!

  11. Thanks so much for posting this space - it is perfect inspiration for my living room. I've just bought the most gorgeous navy blue velour to upholster the sofa in, and have been eyeing off pastels, although I'm leaning toward mint at the moment!
