Miscommunication...

We dropped Lily and Molly off to the doggy day spa and asked for them to have a lovely trim, tidy their ears etc. We had to head out in the afternoon and my Mum helped out picking them up. When she arrived she wasn't sure she picked up the right dogs - thank goodness they were excited to see her! All i could do was laugh... Little Molly in that last shot looks as though she is thinking "what on earth have they done"?! . Oh well i suppose makes those beach trips quite easy when the puppies need to dry! Kellie xx

    Oh how sweet! Poor Lily and Molly wouldn't know have known what to think! At least the shorter hair will keep them cool during summer xx

    Oh dear! I've had the same thing happen to me - actually with my own hair AND my dog's - the good news ... it grows out! Hope you already got their pictures with Santa ;D They are adorable by the way!!!

    You have a better sense of humor than me! Once they cut my Charley's ears too short and I was a little sad! But like you said the beach trips will be a bit easier.

    Oooh Kellie..I really think the after shots are super cute.
    I really love their new do! It shows off the shape of their cute little ears so beautifully and everything looks balanced...I would seriously go for this cut again..at least for summer honey...its adorable ; ) x

    Poor little Lily and Molly, they've had a taste of a scissor happy stylist. It's ok girls, it will grow back.
    Anyway, they have the most gorgeous eyes and no hair cut could ever distract from that.

    Nothing worse than a bad hair cut! They do look a little taken aback by their new look!
    Maybe they need to do what any girl would do in this situation and sport a cute hat. Jx

    We had a King Charles Spaniel and had this done and I think she really loved it - they do kind of look odd for a bit but personally I was happy there was less hair around! Thankfully these things do grow back and they do look adorable!!

    Haha - I´ve experienced exactly the same with my dog, one time when I picked her up I hardly recognized her at all because they had trimmed off so much! :-D

    hi darl, i had to laugh when i saw this pic! We always get teddy cut this short, I always wondered why your pups had longer hair, specially when it's hot! Me Ted loves it too - well, not getting it done, he tries to bite the hair cut guy!! (sometimes he has to be muzzled!! naughty pup). Unfortunately it grows back real fast and you have to do another cut, and another, and another - and so on for the rest of his long haired life! lol

    OMG! They still look awfully cute though. Our spoodle Bruno is off for his trim this Thursday, so your post is a reminder for me to be quite specific with the groomer. I hate it when he comes back with his wool too short. x
