Creativity

I saw this over at Sterling Style and there were some interesting tips on staying creative. I'm an expert at number 1 and need to work on 6 more - i really don't like it when things go wrong!

Which do you do best, and what do you think you could do better?

  1. Great list thank you - helps put things in perspective when you work at home! I need to 4. get away from the computer, 6. stop beating myself up (I always assume it's my fault!), and 32. have fun. That has out a smile on my face! Thanks Kellie. Annie x.

  2. Yes we can all be guilty of no. 6. Must admit to not being too keen on doing no.27 ! and also need to work on no.29 and 32.

  5. What a fabulous list - I've bookmarked this one, and it might need to get pinned up at my desk, too. I love number 5 - think it comes all too naturally! Number 29 needs very, very definite work.

  6. Hi Kellie..definitely 'have fun'. When I think a project will be fun to do, that thought energises me and drives me on to complete the project. I also believe in having fun before starting anything..looking at other peoples work or displays that inspire me, dreaming of what I'd like to make or how I'd like something to look or take in some nature. It all feeds the creative in me.

  12. I like the 'got an idea, write it down' tip. How many times have you gone to bed thinking of something wonderful & then lost the details in the morning!?
    Great post.
