Saturday morning I completely missed the alarm and ended up at the flower markets just as they were closing at 10.55am. I ran to my favourite flower man who gave me 36 roses for $10 - outrageous!! Here are just a few in darling Samantha Robinson vases and they are incredibly beautiful. Orange, lemon and pink - such a special combination.
I always ask him the same question when choosing my roses 'will these last til tomorrow', he often laughs and says they will last you a week! Gotta be sure and enjoy these little darlings for as long as possible. Kellie xx
Aah, a friend just gifted me a similar bouquet, but a bit hotter in hue.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, they lasted well into the following week.
Cut the stems under water, add any preservative packets offered up, and change that water every three days.
Cheers!..and a gorgeous score.
You have to be kidding? Might pay to miss the alarm again :) Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous vases.

ReplyDeleteOk that will probably sound dumb of me but I've never bought flowers for myself, never made a flower arrangement either! I guess I didn't see the point since it will die so fast... but seeing your beautiful vases with the colorful roses made me jealous (in a good way!). Maybe I should give it a shot sometime!
