I saw this bedroom and the first thing I noticed was the gorgeous, mirrored furniture! Still not over it, I would really, really love a mirrored desk, but knowing me, that would be a recipe for disaster! Kellie xx
oh yeah, I love that too - want some in my bedroom - saving for it. Local mirror maker sells them, sometimes quite cheap!!! otherwise, if you have the $$$ head off to Laura Ashley!
Kellie..gorgeous room and inspiration. A mirrored desk is fab but maybe just to look at ..not use! CHeck out House of Turquoise link for the chandelier you posted yesterday - its wow factor-I thought of you straight away when I saw it!Sinead http://www.houseofturquoise.com/2010/09/meg-adams.html
That room is beautiful! My daughter has a mirrored chest in her guestroom...it's the perfect spot-adds a little glamour to the room, but it's not used daily.
I'm Kellie Collis and Ada & Darcy is a place I share my thoughts, interests and happenings at my store and my life. I love to decorate, love beautiful textiles, love bright colours and love to share the bits and bobs that inspire me each day. With lots and lots planned over the coming months @ Ada & Darcy, I hope you enjoy visiting as much as i enjoy sharing gorgeous things i find along my adventures.
Lovely and love your blog!

ReplyDeleteI love mirrored furniture but it is so 'spensive. Where can you source it other than Laura Ashley?
ReplyDeleteI love mirrored furniture as well. I think it's so pretty for a bedroom, but I'd be happy to have a few pieces anywhere!
ReplyDeleteI love mirrored furniture also. I guess it's essential to love it if Art Deco is your favourite period of design as mine is.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be a pain to keep looking immaculate, but it wouldn't stop me from having it.
Love the pic.
