I have always wished I could paint, sadly I lack in that skill. I can't imagine how amazing it would be to be able to come home after a stressful day and rewind by getting out the paintbrushes and pulling a master piece together. And, how rewarding would it be to have amazing art, hanging all through your home, knowing it had been created from scratch by yourself!
In the meantime, I will sit back and admire this gorgeous work from Jane Thill Studio... So very stylish and divine attention to detail! Kellie xx
Awww that is absolutely stunning!!! How talented:-) I wish I could do that too. Great post hun.
ReplyDeleteAwww, how cute!

ReplyDeleteLovely paniting!! She is amazing. I try to paint some times. Some of them turn out ok that my husban wants to hang them but he would hang anything I make.

ReplyDeleteHer work is lovely. I have ben lusting after her portraits for a few weeks now :)
ReplyDeletei love it!!!
ReplyDeleteHer work is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat I would love is somewhere to be able to have all my painting gear & not have to get it out & then pack it away due to miniature wandering hands. I won't call it a studio because that would indicate that I am some kind of professional - which is far from the truth. Guess it is just one of those things that I need to be patient until the kids are a bit older & we have more space.....

oh love it! I used to paint sometime ago... guess I lost my inspiration somewhere...
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful talent!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable paintings. I like them all.
ReplyDeleteYou should start with a small project on a paper, make as many as you can, soon you will see improvement on your paintings and drawings, and will be an artist before you know!
I love them, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely.. just love the seascape in the first.. xx Julie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful paintings, thanks for sharing this talent with us.
ReplyDeleteHad to look twice before I realized these were paintings! Interior designs have become a very popular theme these days, and it's fun to decorate with them. She's really good!
ReplyDeleteBut, you are particularly great at painting a virtual view with visual clues.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I bet you'd have some fun finger painting, too.
Cheers!
Lovely pieces. So light and happy. I can see why you love them.
ReplyDeletePainting is fun and I love being able to work as an artist. Though I must say, there are stresses with doing this for a living just as any other job..

Learning to paint with watercolors is on my list of things I want to learn before I die. I even purchased a set of watercolors, brushes and paper, but have yet to find a class.
ReplyDeleteyes, I too would love to have that talent. so lovely, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love Janet Hill's work. Her use of reds and greens is perfection. (Probably I'm swayed by the fact that those are my two favorite colors.) I also love the 1950's 'naive' tone to her paintings.
ReplyDeleteI meant to add this to my previous post. Here's another artist whose work you might like, Kellie.
