A velvet obsession...

I can't get enough of velvet right now. Sofa's or cushions, I don't really mind. There is something so luxurious, glamourous and welcoming about velvet in interiors!

A little dog of mine, who shall not be named... Decided to pull the piping off one of my chairs which has meant that it is definitely in need of some re-covering... I'm thinking some hot pink velvet would work a treat! And dog proof too! Kellie xx

  2. What a pretty photo! It's 90 degrees here, but I do love velvet, especially in these soft colors!

  3. What a gorgeous photo Kellie. I must admit, my love affair for white painted furniture wanes a little when I see this image!
Hope you have a lovely week.

  4. I was admiring a beautiful mauve velvet chair in Laura Ashley the other day. It was gorgeous but way out of my budget unfotunately!
    Have a great week Kellie!

  5. Perhaps if you do take the plunge into velvet and recover the chair a coordinating floor cushion for the 'fluffy ones' could be created. Double the velvet, half the dramas! x F

  14. I would love to have velvet covers to slip on my sofa and chairs in winter but the temperatures here in Brisbane are just too warm to really appreciate them. I am sewing in velvet at the moment - dresses for my daughters- which is almost as good.
