Two simple pleasures

I made a couple of very exciting purchases over the weekend - those gorgeous glass vases and my new notebooks. Even though I do have my Blackberry, I alway prefer to write things down on a note book, electronic forms just isn't the same for me. I tend to get a lot of satisfaction crossing things off my to-do list and deleting things online never feels anywhere near as satisfying. And I have this perhaps unproductive habit of re-writing my lists over and over again! It's amazing how the simple things in life give you the most pleasure! Kellie xx

  1. I love notebooks for making lists too - there's nothing like planning and sketching and then crossing something off and feeling that sense of satisfaction that it's complete :)

  3. I am the same way. Nothing better than crossing something out off my notebook once I am done. It gives me a sense of accomplishment. Cannot do that with my iPhone...

  13. Love the notebooks and stationery in general. The problem is that I like to use a few at a time - one for work, another for writing, then another for design ideas, blogs, etc. Crazy I know :)
    enjoy your purchases

  22. Hi Kellie, I feel the exact same way, my family thinks I am nuts. Of course, they are all "techno" geeks. I like my Blackberry also, but paper and pen just give me a sense of accomplishment ????
Everything looks stunning, as usual. Thanks for sharing and have a nice week.

  24. Love the glass vases! I agree with the need for notebooks, I try and put as much as possible into my phone, but at the end of the day I use my notebooks (plural!) all the time and there is always one in my handbag!
