I have an itch. That itch is to paint our dining room table. Something bright and bold. Perhaps turquoise. I found this inspiration as examples of how gorgeous paint can look and how it can transform a piece of furniture. Now to convince the husband this would a fabulous thing for him to do for me... Wish me the best of luck! Kellie xx

I am itching too now! :)
ReplyDeleteI have had that itch for a while but doubt the 'other half' will have that same itch :) Those light fittings are so beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteAfter all the pen marks on our table from my children's over enthusiastic colouring-in, I'm thinking painting it is going to be a great option. I think plates of food would look fabulous on turquoise.

Love all those images. I've been staring at a piece of furniture in my kitchen and want to paint it a bright colour but feeling a little anxious about it. Everything in our house is white. But I need colour. I just don't know which colour to choose. Good luck getting the hubby to paint. My husband is a great painter so I just remind him of that and gush about how bad I am but how fantastic his painting is. Feeling quite proud of himself, he usually offers to paint for me!
ReplyDeleteYes I quite like the painted tables - go for it!!!
ReplyDeleteyes, i love - especially the navy and lilac pics here. I have an old oak kitchen table with cream painted legs but am now thinking a bold and beautiful make-over may be in order! x

ReplyDeleteBefore I even finished your first paragraph, I was thinking you need to first get permission from the husband!! I painted our master bath in that same beautiful turquoise. I love it, but he on the other hand...is still coming around. Good luck!! ;)
