Whilst the view here is delightful, what I was most interested in was that painted cane furniture! What a beautiful colour and just shows you, that old cane furniture I know Mum has hiding away in the garage, with just a tiny amount of effort, can come up looking stylish and new again. Throw on a gorgeous cushion or two and you have a winner! Kellie xx

I've always thought my grandmother's cane furniture would be divine in a plush pink ~ I might just have to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteThe creeping vines absolutely captured my attention. The sweet blue cane set mirror the colour of the sea. But with a postcard view like that, even a hammock would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh My...this photo is gorgeous! Wishing I had a view like this!

How weird Kellie, I posted about old cane furniture today too. Love this shot. Thanks for your sweet words about the cupcake liners, glad you/and mum liked them.

I wonder if spray paint or regular paint is the way to go with cane/wicker. which would get in the grooves best without too much dripping? Love this view!!

I believe that shade of blue just happens to pair well with the view.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I think this would be equally beautiful in sunny yellow or lime green. I really adore the traditional furniture with something completely unexpected. Carol
