Making black pretty


Isn't the black such an interesting and lovely introduction to this room. And so surprising. You don't often associate black with pretty tulle and floral. Nor do you think black as a "soft" colour but it works magically well here. Perhaps that lovely tulle skirt below could work beautifully with black as well...

  8. i would never get out of that bed. it is divine. the black adds a great masculine element.wonder if that's one wallpaper or papers one on top of another.love it. could be interesting with so many other papers.

  16. Black can be such a masculine colour, I've done my home in Black, White & Silver and it feels very modern, but these images are definitely more feminine and beautiful! Love it! :) Hazel

  25. I totally agree. Am in such a black phase right now, and this is very unusual as my DNA is Swedish and truly programmed to crave whites and neutrals.. :)
