Oh this lovely picture reminded me that cherry blossoms should be in season very soon. I adore them and always wanted to have one in my garden. With my short attention span and their very limited flowering season i decided that it's probably best to simply buy a bunch or two each season. Oh, and in gum boots - yep i could definitely do that!
On a side note, apologies for being a little absent this week and not visiting your gorgeous blogs. Unfortunately things have been very hectic but I plan on spending lots of time on the weekend catching up with you all xxx

I love the blossoms too! My garden looks so pretty this time of year with the orchard almost in bloom. I'm also looking forward to our wattle trees to burst with yellow...I can't wait!

No worries about being absent, life gets in our bloggy way sometimes. You are always so good about visiting and comment, I always appreciate seeing your name on my blog. See you this weekend,Kathysue

ReplyDeleteOh what a great photo. I have a cherry blossom tree and they are pretty in flower but one strong wind and they are gone. Such a shame they don't flower for long as they are beautiful

Now thats a REAL pair of gummies (not like the ones on my post). I grew up on a cherry orchard so have a big softspot for their blossoms.
ReplyDeleteCute pic Kellie, I saw an episode of Martha this week all about the different types of cherry blossoms... there were heaps, and all stunning of course. I used to have a stone fruit orchard, and they all blossomed at different times and colours, so we would get such a fab display. I miss that!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend
