7am wake-up!

The check and measure for our shutters was supposed to be at 9am, imagine our surprise when the doorbell rang at 7am! Unfortunately I don't tend to wake up looking as glamourous as our lovely lady in the shot. Poor guys who came to the door probably got a fright! Kellie x

Just a small obsession...

Headboards (for Mimi) seem to be my thing for the moment. I adore the look! I have been waiting so long to define what exactly I should do with our room until the plantation shutters were confirmed and now I can finally get the ball rolling. We have a king bed so finding a bed head can sometimes be a little difficult although good things come to those who wait don't they? This soft look is just what I want for our room, along with some fabulous wallpaper and a gorgeous light (that light feature in that first room is glorious isn't it?!). How very exciting! Kellie xx

That home is familiar!

I was trawling through here for beautiful homes for sale and recognised these pictures! I saw them on another fabulous blog (if it was you please do let me know - I wanted to give you the credit I just cannot find you again) and it reminded me that this was the home of the incredibly talented Collette Dinnigan. I quite like the structure in her home with the soft elements and textures throughout. Some parts are quite masculne but the splashes of beauty here and there really works. Oh and that bouganvilla is a delight overlooking the pool! Some serious inspiration! Kellie xx
