No time to rest. I am still painting. I have white paint on places I never thought possible, luckily there is still lots of paint on the walls too! What a weekend!
oh my! one time, too long ago, I had the same idea of painting our apartment (we were too young, my hubby and I)... and that was the last time we did! hopefully it will look fantastic when you end! xoxo
I will get into those projects & think, "why oh why"? I'm driven when it comes to painting. Hope all went well for you & you are pleased with the outcome. Makes it all worth while. Hopefully Monday you can sit back & enjoy?!
Painting can be very relaxing, I find. You feel like you're creating something new in your home. Some people believe its ridding a room of old spirits, or a form of cleansing. A friend of mine told me that, hehe.
Ahhh Kellie, just hang in there, it is so rewarding to see the results. I just painted two rooms and I am still so happy about the look. Love your gorgeous pictures which show just that feeling between where you are and where you would rather be...well, surely later! Can't wait to see the house!
When cleaning up, dont forget to scrub the back of your forearm, down near your elbow!
I always find smears of paint there, normally a couple of days later when someone points it out to me (not that I don't shower, its just not somewhere that it seems to wash away from easily LOL!)
I'm Kellie Collis and Ada & Darcy is a place I share my thoughts, interests and happenings at my store and my life. I love to decorate, love beautiful textiles, love bright colours and love to share the bits and bobs that inspire me each day. With lots and lots planned over the coming months @ Ada & Darcy, I hope you enjoy visiting as much as i enjoy sharing gorgeous things i find along my adventures.
