How fabulous! Hopefully one day Ada & Darcy will be recognised just one thousandth of the extent that people associate that fabulous orange with Hermes. This is not a colour i would normally have in my home, but a Hermes box i could certainly accommodate!! Kellie xx

I agree about the Hermes box! The orange is a bit too much for decorating an entire house in, but accents of it are fine. Sometimes I think the Hermes packaging rivals the goods it hides... the bags and boxes themselves are definitely worthy of decorating a home with!
ReplyDeleteI like it too--it the intensity--it reminds me of tangerines :)
ReplyDeleteI so agree Kellie - even if you are not a huge fan of orange, a little Hermes orange never hurt anyone! Great post :D
ReplyDeleteLove it, of course anything that makes me think of Hermes is fine by me!
ReplyDeleteI do like a pop of brilliant orange here and there, but I really, really love those boots in the bottom picture!
ReplyDeleteOrange in small amounts is wonderful...especially a little Hermes orange!
ReplyDeletelove the second picture!! I also tumblr about it..when I saw I fell in love!!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great weekend!
Since I have a house with grey siding and shades of grey in the brick, I was thinking of doing my front door an orange shade, I think orange and grey compliment each other so well and the Hermes shade just might be the perfect one! I need to get a hold of a box to take it to the hardware store and have the paint matched!

I totally agree, that orange is beautiful and hints of it work really well.
ReplyDeleteLove that second image, particularly the photo of the woman sweeping down the stairs in that gorgeous dress and coat!
Thanks so much for your comments on your blog - your blog is really wonderful so I am very flattered to know you have visited mine!
Best wishes to you,

Orange is my favorite color and Hermes orange is especially nice!!
ReplyDeleteI happen to love pops of orange (though admittedly don't have many in my own home!) and of course anything Hermes is always fine.
ReplyDeleteInterior designer Sarah Story does some AMAZING work that features Hermes boxes rather prominently. You should definitely check it out!
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning! Nothing beat the ever-classic Hermes orange. Plus, I predict it's going to be huge for Fall.
ReplyDeleteCheers.

ReplyDeleteI adore that framed photograph of the woman in the orange coat.
ReplyDeleteNot a favorite color of mine but if it's Hermes, I am sure I could make it fit in somehwere. Love the picture above the table, looks like Grace Kelly.
ReplyDeleteCute box! Orange isn't a color I'm attracted to very often. :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder what was in the box .... something gorgeous no doubt! Leigh
