More than one purpose...


I have a wedding to attend in the coming months. When buying something to wear, i always try to buy a dress that will last a few seasons that when it loses its "newness" i can throw on with some sandals and wear it to lunch in the summer time. I try to find accessories that have the same value proposition, something i can tuck away and bring out for a special occassion or perhaps a day at the races. Something that you can bring out and  feel fabulous wearing, something that people will ask.... "Where did you get that from!?"... 

These gorgeous items from Twigs and Honey are a perfect example of this. Sure i have seen fabric flowers before, but the beautiful textures, softness and subtle deigns work wonderfully and really differentiate these products from those mass produced ones you see around and about in the shops... I am particularly fond of the flower sash, there are so many beautiful ways this item could be worn, how wondeful for a sunday afternoon lunch.... x

    Hi Kellie,
    I totally understand..When I have to buy a dress for an event, I keep the same thing in mind..Can I wear this again? I can't help but swoon over shoes and accessories...I usually do a really fabulous ring or necklace, although these fabric flowers are stunning. I have a picture of a woman with a fabric flower on her shoe..I have to send you that pic...sounds a little strange, but its dreamy!
