Oh. Finally the day is here.

A pretty way to start a pretty Saturday. Oh and today is the big day, we pick Molly up in  a couple of hours. I feel anxious - I hope she loves us! Kellie xx

It's not really about a bear!

I received an email that the Christian Louboutin Resort Range was released online. Of course I would have my Louboutin's ready for a lovely day out at the park... Although I think I would take a bear on rather than have them eaten!  Kellie xx

Do you like my fabric choice?

I thought I would show you what I plan to do with the white lampshade that was on my favourite teapot lamp! Isn't the fabric just divine and a mix of such beautiful colours. I will be sending the lampshade off in the next couple of weeks to be given a stylish facelift. I promise to show you the end result which I hope will be just gorgeous. Kellie xx

I like your style!

I saw this over at Made By Girl and was delighted to see so much lovely colour on the gorgeous white back drop. Isn't that turquoise door fabulous! x

Details behind a Vera Wang

Of course when I grow up I will be able to sketch like this and sew like a professional! xx

Dresses by Victoria B....

What do you think of Victoria Beckham's range of dresses? I don't want to like them, but, I actually do - lots. And, when she wears them... Well they look even better. Anyone else agree? xx

New things in our house!

Look at our new goodies...

1. Gorgeous new plantation shutters- yipeeeee!
2. Pretty cushion from Black & Spiro
3. Lily warming up Molly's new bed in preparation for her arrival on Saturday.

Something else interesting in the blog world...

The lovely Amy sent me this blog, it's fascinating and the writer is 13 years old. Love the pictures of her, I trawled through her blog last night looking at the self taken pictures. Perhaps it has evoked the nosiness in me. xx

My kind of candy cane!

So dreamy and pretty!

Firstly, choose the prettiest candy canes you can find...

Then, break off the tops...

Next, melt some white chocolate (milk or dark chocolate would be delicious, too). Then, dip each stick in the melted chocolate and then immediately roll them in some pretty nonpareils.

Simply place them in cellophane bags and tie them with some lavender ribbon.

This fabulous find is from here xx.

Just like a shirt

I saw this bathroom in Lonny and adored it. So bold and stylish. Whenever I go shopping for clothes for my husband, I am drawn to striped shirts of any kind. Seems I have the same attraction with interiors! xx

Pom pom beauty!

I do love a good pom pom and was delighted when I saw them over here! Wouldn't these be delightful over the Christmas table...

Simple instructions are as follows:

~

Step 1: Cut circles out of fabric.

Step 2: Fold the circle in half and put a little hot glue on the center, then fold over to secure.

Step 3: Apply more hot glue to the bottom of the folded circle.

Step 4: Press the bottom of the folded circle with the hot glue onto the chinese lantern.

Step 5: Repeat these steps until the whole lantern is covered. Once finished, attached some fabric to the metal frame of the lantern to hang.

And wall-ah!! x
