Beauty in a blossom...

Off to the flower markets i am went this morning at 5am. I was delighted to find cherry blossoms as well as my beloved sweet peas.... I can smell these little darlings now!

 I promise to post my other lovely flowers next week...

I really adore and admire beautiful art. Love this work from David Downtown . His ability to create such unique and stylish artwork of some of the world's most stunning women is amazing. I really enjoy seeing the interpretation of a model's beauty beyond an editorial feature. Aren't the ones of Lily Cole just divine... He is has captured her doll like features and style beautifully. Happy Friday... Which means it's flower markets day tomorrow! xx

Back to my loves.

Had a corporate event for my alter ego tonight. Love coming home to my blog, no alterior motives, common interests and beautiful and inspirational things. 

When i buy my beach cottage, here is what it will look like. I'm not much of a beach girl, i have very pale skin.. Still i will sat back and enjoy the view (and my gorgeous interiors) every day. Lots of lovely prints, beautiful use of white and open windows that don't ever need to be closed. Perfection. xx

I'm a bit of a fuss pot when it comes to styling at weddings and the photography... Saw these photographs and loved them! Such a gorgeous concept that is pulled together fabulously. The photographer, Josh Goleman has captured the essence perfectly.

Lipstick, fragrances & a stunning home...

I came across the fabulous home of Aerin Lauder, grand daughter of Estee Lauder and Senior Vice President and Creative Director of the iconic fragrance and cosmetics brand. And what a beautiful home it is too. Such beautiful colours, gorgeous wall decor, stunning fabrics and style that is unassuming and elegant. 

I unfortunately cannot wear Estee Lauder fragrances as they make me sneeze but i absolutely always adore their scents and their divine print campaigns, they manage to incorporate flowers so incredibly and they always ooze elegance. Lovely to see the gorgeous campaigns reflect this home perfectly. Kellie xx

What makes me tick...

I dragged Luke off to the flower markets at 5.30am on Saturday morning and on the way home we were laughing at how outrageous it was that i was excited to get out of bed that early to buy flowers. Ask me to go for a run at that hour or go on a holiday at this time i would most likely refuse. Yet, the thought of trying to find some sweet peas in the middle of winter is exciting and very glamourous. P.s I didn't find any sweet peas but found some pretty roses (the orchids are from my mum's garden).

Whilst Luke doesn't jump out of bed in the search for flowers it did make me think how different things make people tick...  Give me first pick of the flowers, for Kate (my best friend) she would love a sleep in and a late breakfast, my mum, a healthy breakfast and a game of tennis. What makes you tick of a morning?
