Contrasting Decor ~ bold prints and pretty Ghost chairs!

I recently stayed at what was previously known as The Storrier. I love the contrast of the black and white striped chairs and lamps in the accommodation and the soft and elegant fabrics on the Ghost chairs in the restaurant. I stayed here on my hens night so it brings back lots of fond memories.... Kellie xx

The most fabulous hair salon in Australia?

I love this hair salon owned by Brad Ngata. The interiors by Scott Weston are fabulous, amazing and incredibly decadent! I adore how brave they were in putting this concept together and it has turned out divine. I do love the pink too!! Although don't you think it doesn't even look real????

Beautiful work from Kate

Here is so more of my gorgeous friend Kate's fabulous work at Advantage Property Styling. Kate's simple and elegant style always amazes me. I love things that are fussy, patterns and colours so it is so refreshing and inspiring to see such stylish and structured designs from Kate. 

Perhaps that is why we are such wonderful friends... I'm irrational, unstructured and my taste changes like the wind and she is calm, elegant and endlessly considerate. We never argue and balance each other out perfectly.

 

Delightful outdoor living

I do adore outside living spaces, in seeking inspiration for my own garden i saw these beautiful designs courtesy of House and Garden magazine. I love each design for very different reasons.

Whilst i generally don't gravitate towards Asian style interiors i absolutely adore this outdoor living space in the first image.... How amazing is that stone tub surrounded by the pond!!! 

And of course here is something so typical (and perhaps boring) of my taste. My favourite hydrangeas mixed with magnolia's and beautiful fabrics on those cushions. So pretty.

What a deck and a half! How natural and elegant is this final design. The natives are divine and incorporates conservation and recycled water. Just fabulous.

Balmain homes... Lots of charm!

I do love to gaze for hours at real estate. I was looking at Domain and found these gorgeous homes for sale in Balmain (Sydney). I adore terrace homes, they have so much character, history and charm. 

Next home for us will be something like these. I would actually prefer that it wasn't that perfect to begin with so i can make it my own. I particularly love the colours of the brick work on the first image,  it looks so warm and inviting.

Lovely things from my garden

I do love my garden. I just put some pansy's in on the weekend to add some colour whilst my hydrangeas have all but stopped flowering for winter. 

So pretty and delicate.

Lovely Luka Luna display

I absolutely adore this display from Luka Luna. Look at all the ibride furniture!!!! White walls, beautiful wall stickers, lamps and fabulous chests make this a sight for sore eyes. Next steps, book a flight to France.......
