I'm really keen to change the wallpaper in our bedroom, Im thinking of something bold and fun. At the moment it's very peaceful and pretty just feeling though, i want to mix things up a bit and these two from Designers Guild are so beautiful! What you do think, 1 or 2?

Kelly. I think that´s a good choise for the bedroom (my english isn´t good, sorry).
ReplyDeleteOh definately the first one!
ReplyDeleteIt's much more stylish with the mix of wild (big, bold flowers) and subdued (grey etching background) It's actually very sublime.
Didn't you just recently do the wallpaper in your bedroom? I've had the toile de jouy in mine since 5 years .......I'm also ready for a change....!
Both are very fresh and pretty and I think that either one would look lovely. Only you can make that final choice. XXXX
ReplyDeletelol Kellie, I've just spent 2 hours looking for wallpaper on line for the studio and here you have posted about some wonderful options! I couldn't find much. Thank goodness for your blog honey! I like number 2. It's almost like looking through a kaleidoscope. xxx
ReplyDeletethe 1st one! great!
ReplyDeleteHi Kellie. They're both amazing but it depends on your space. The first is a specifically sized panel print and goes up on the wall as pictured at a stunning 3 metros height by about 135 wide. The second is the wallpaper version of the panel print so can be used in any sized space. Either will look stunning. Believe me, in the flesh they're even more amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love one..the two different patterns are beautiful together..Rachaelxx
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the first one - very dramatic!
ReplyDeleteBit of a sucker for number 1 actually, love Designer's Guild, when we lived in Sydney & i had lots of little babies, i used to raid their sale in Randwick. Oh, still have lots of remnants!! Love Posie
ReplyDeleteNice paper choices- both totally rock. Kellie you are styling and fabulous my dear so go with your gut instinct! Let us know what you decided..Sinead x
ReplyDeleteI love number 2 Kellie. So fresh and colourful xx
ReplyDeleteTough one Kellie, at first I thought #1 but then I like # 2 as well. I would make my final decision on the kind of light you have coming into the bedroom. Sorry...that does not help at all!
ReplyDeleteJeanne xx
I vote no. 1. However whichever you choose will be perfect, because you always seem to get it so right.

Hi Kellie, I have noticed Australians use a lot of wallpaper in their home. It must be an British heritage!?
ReplyDeleteThe more I get to know the papers, the more I like them. I was surprised with the 2 you showed us today. I think #1 is more unique, but I wouldn't know how to use it. For a whole wall or just one panel?
Love the first one!simple yet fresh and beautiful. anyway,I think It would be definitely awesome either one of them.Nice post.
ReplyDeleteHi Kellie, I had actually saved an image some time ago of the first wallpaper - I love it. Definently number one, although, number two is very pretty too.!!! So hard to choose! Good luck! Laura c xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Kellie, I like the first one! It's so pretty and romantic.....Kathy
ReplyDeleteDifficult to pick one because they are both beautiful but I think I would go with the second one.

ReplyDeletewow these are sooo beautiful!! i don't think you can go wrong with either really! but i do love number 2!! xo
ReplyDeleteI kind of like both but I think 1 takes a break from the roses a bit with the lovely background. So I say number 1.
ReplyDelete#2 is lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving #1 - it's so unusual, with the panels, it really stands out. Gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous wallpaper but I love the colours of the second wallpaper:)
ReplyDeleteI love one, but not on a wall so much, probably prefer two - depends on furniture too! (gee your brave!!!), does your DH have a say??? LOL

ReplyDeleteFun ways to give a space a little hint of pattern. Very unique.
ReplyDeleteMeg
Totally obsessed with #1. Very unique! Even if you didn't paper the entire room, a few panels would be great to.
ReplyDeleteI love the bold florals in the panelling. It breaks it up nicely. Such a tough choice, good luck!
ReplyDeletelove the first one Kellie! xo
ReplyDeleteI like the whole idea as well. Number 1 would be my choice. Beautiful AND lively.
ReplyDeleteSo hard to pick one! I guess I'd go with #1...but both are gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteI go with number 2. It's delicate.
ReplyDeletethey are both lovely Kellie! ;) I have been aching to come back to your page recently.... it feels so good to return and comment you at last!
ReplyDeleteI love the floor in the first one as well! I think that really brings out the pastels well and would encourage very colorful throws and throw pillows! I am in love with color myself and am dreaming of redoing our Master bedroom here shortly too! ;) how fun it is to dream! I am thinking of a Euro boudoir feeling ;) hugs to you.... look forward to seeing over time what you choose - it will be lovely! xx Jenn
Hi Kellie, I had a think about my choice yesterday and I think I have changed my mind to the first one because it really is much more unusual.
ReplyDeleteMost definitely my vote is no.1 -- it's utterly fabulous! I can see it being powerful, but not as overwhelming as the second option. Do let us know what you decide!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend,
xoxo
i love all in your post!
ReplyDeleteEnchanting atmosphere....
