I really loved this space, so many interesting pieces to catch your eye, you see it once, then go back and look at the details even closer.
Seems i really have colour on my mind all the time of late, I realised that lilac is starting to become a personal favourite. It isnt though, everyone's cup of tea!.What are your thoughts? Like it? Don't mind it? Perhaps not at all? Or Just in small doses?
Kellie xx
Ps. Thank you Abbey for the inspiration today!

hello Kellie
ReplyDeletehmm... it's ok for me but depends how much is used and where I suppose.
It is a busy room isn't it? I am wondering is it a room in a home or a designers waiting area.
A good talking point anyway
have a lovely day

I love lilac, always have....it's funny because I look at my wardrobe and noticed I have been buying quite a bit of plums, dusty violet and royal purple, something of which I have never bought, but I love it! Have a great week Kellie Xoxoxo ~Ashley

a ton of details...and i like just about every single one of them. great shot.
ReplyDeleteIs a lovely room!
ReplyDeleteGrey, lilac and yellow are beautiful together, however I think it looks kind too busy in this room. I would have taken some of the accessories away to soften the room a bit.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful day, Kellie!

ReplyDeleteI'm with you Kellie. Lilac was not on my (long) list of favourite shades but lately I'm just loving it and wondering where to incorporate it! Thanks for the lovely shout out too :) Abbey x
ReplyDeletei love all the pattern. and those lights!
ReplyDeleteLove all shades of purple - from lilac to plum and everything in between. After all, the color is supposed to inspire creativity so perhaps that's why we design bloggers like it so much!

My bedroom is lavender with grey and yellow, and I must say that I'm smitten with it!
ReplyDeleteoh yes, I adore lilac. I always change my fave color. sometimes hot pink, sometimes lime... love them all! have a beautiful day, darling! xo
ReplyDeletethe wall is so cool lookin!
ReplyDeleteI love that lattice pattern on the walls. Lovely room!
ReplyDeleteI think lavender would be great in a small space, like an entryway or hall. I like touches of lavender with yellow, green, blue, grey. I also like lavender when it is dulled down, and paired with rich browns and dark purple (this is my dream bedroom palette!).
ReplyDeleteI love a little color in my life :)

Lilac was them motif when I married and I am planning to have lilac dominate our house's interior. I got some tips from you today.
