I do quite like the colour palette here... I'd love to hear about what you think of that bedroom space... One part of me loves it.... The other part of me is undecided, it's funny how you can feel like that isn't it!? I quite like the wallpaper though!
And, how beautiful are those flowers... I do have a garden that is very much spring and summer orientated, right now it looks bleak and boring... I cannot wait for spring to come! Hopefully my sweet peas will start blooming soon to give a bit of colour back into my lifeless garden.
I did have to laugh about my post yesterday with a couple of comments about me posting black! Twice in a week... Who would have thought!?
Have a gorgeous Sunday everyone. Im relaxing at home pottering around whilst my husband is running the annual City to Surf fun run! Kellie xx

I think I kind of like the bedroom. The wall paper is rather pretty. It's fresh looking. Would you get tired of it? Maybe ... but I'm not against change. Thanks for showing something so different.
ReplyDeleteI love the soft colors in this room I like the wallpaper but I would have done a white upholstered headboard piped in a lime green or a medium valued pink. The wallpaper reminds me of the 1940-50's a good era!!Happy Sunday to you, Kathysue
ReplyDeleteHi Kellie; I've been behind this week so I must check out your 'black' posts!! I do love this bedroom. It's the rug for me that tempers the sweetness level. Hard to dislike it, such gorgeous colors. Hope you have a restful Sunday. Before you know it, your sweet peas will be blooming before you know it. They are truly
ReplyDeleteone of my favorite flowers, remind me of my mom. ♥
I sort of feel the same way you do - the colours and patterns are so pretty in this room and I love the rug. I think I would change the screen to a solid maybe with some nailhead trim just to give my eye a little rest. Enjoy your Sunday! : )
ReplyDeleteHola Kellie, I do crazily love the ranunculus arrangement!!!! sooo beautiful!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe room looks tranquil and lovely. (I'm also partial to light blue.)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'd want that to be the permanent look of my bedroom, but I wouldn't mind inhabiting the place for a while :)
I love the rug and the conforter! Super cute:-)
ReplyDeleteBonjour! The bedroom is so lovely and feminine. A true repose from hectic life. A retreat! Its colors remind me of the sea, blue sky and soft ice cream colors.

well I quite like it too!!! actually I really love it - wallpaper too - some people are sooo talented when decorating, I imagine effortlessly - AMAZING! Wish it were mine!
ReplyDeleteCan I say Kellie - I love this to look at, but I would never have it in my room because for some reason it's not restful and calming- although the colours are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us different styles because we are all different people with different tastes and it's good to sit back and analyse why we do or don't like a certain decorating style.

Kellie ....those flowers are divine and I can't wait for spring as well! Hope you are having a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThe color scheme is lovely, and the wallpaper makes me think of Japan. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteHi Kellie, love the colours in the room but for me it is way too 'busy' - too much going on. I think maybe white walls and timber floor or plain coloured carpet would be better. I think I need something a little more 'peaceful' for a bedroom

i see what you mean, it's a bit busy, with so much going on pattern~wise, but at the same time, i'm curiously drawn to the space. i really like the rug/carpet though, alot~enjoy your sunday! ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Kellie! I like the pillows and love those flowers. I think it might be a little too busy for me though. The wall paper is really beautiful though! Thank you for your comments on my blog! I'm so excited to be getting back to the beach! Jennifer:)

I've loved this (Nina Campbell?) print since I first saw it, and adore this room as is. Incredibly clever rug, and the lampshade is a wonderful way to bring attention to the lovely chartreusey green. I could dream very sweet dreams in that bedroom!
ReplyDelete...wow I must say the runnuculas (spelling!?) are wonderful...great arrangement!..The bedroom looks all airey and soft...maybe whoever lives there wears a bed jacket!...I know I would!...you have the best pics!
ReplyDeleteLove the wallpaper just on the screen would be enough for me though!! Still a gorgeous room, I would have done a different carpet too, oh Kellie I'm shutting up now hee, love the flowers, I so miss having no flowers cannot wait to get my new house sorted so I can plant away, but then I will never get the lovely flowers you can grow :(( Thank goodness you are here to share them with me!! :)))
