A project over time...

I adore this look, bits and pieces all thrown together effortlessly. And, what I like most about it is that you cannot just decide to pull it together one day. All those lovely little things needed to be collected over time, found here and there to make the final masterpiece. A touch of this and a tad of that - nothing really matching of course but works in together like it was meant to be... Kellie xx

And i'm currently looking for a bread tin just like that one for my kitchen, wish I could reach into the photo and grab it (along with all the other pretties).

  10. Beautiful! I like that each piece usually has some type of meaning. And that it takes time to build a pretty collection.

  13. I was just getting sucked into the "I-am-registering-and-everything-matches" world and this post pulled me right back out of it. Variety IS indeed the spice of life!

  14. It is a gorgeous look, but not that easy to get it right! Most things in my house are not "allowed" to match, it drives me crazy if there is too much uniformity! So I have mis-matched dinner-ware, pillow-cases, candle holders, pictures etc. I think it feels very homely!
