A pretty pickup

Picked up some more gorgeous lampshades {excuse the photo this one is a quick shot from my blackberry}! I just look at them and they make me so happy. I showed some friends today and they all have put in orders - bless them!

Holiday = Booked

Summer holiday = booked! Yippeee. Can't wait to have our own gorgeous pool on the Noosa River {my enthusiasm for a pool is due to not having one as a child and as an adult im desperate for one!!}. It's my favourite place. Love the shops, the restaurants, the weather and the stunning location. Can't wait! Kellie xx

Cloisonne Vases & Ginger Jars

Oh i just love these! Gorgeous colours and delightfully pretty. Versatile too - gorgeous on their own and divine with flowers. These came yesterday and I couldn't resist a little picture for Mum who will adore these too!

My Mum's off having a wonderful time in Hawaii shopping up a storm i suspect... Selfishly I cannot wait for her to come home, so much to tell her! Only a week and a half to go. Have a lovely time Mum - kisses!!! xxxxxx

Garden joy

Spring time prettiness. Loving those suspended glass vessels too! We spent lots of time in the garden yesterday, it's so good to see all my favourite hydrangeas starting to show signs of life again. I look forward to having little bunches of flowers inside, courtesy of our little garden. Kellie xx

Sponge Cake Disasters

I attempted another sponge cake yesterday and no, this beautiful one here isnt mine. Mine was flat and horrible. What is it with sponge cakes and them never looking like those gorgeous pictures. I know it's not the recipe, and it's definitely me but i just cant quite pinpoint what im doing wrong. I envisage something so beautiful with fresh cream, strawberries and covered in icing sugar but sadly, it always ends in the bin! Any tips for astute bakers?

Gorgeous Grey
