Creative and delightful weekends...

Have a delightfully creative weekend everyone! Not too much planned for me this weekend, visiting my lovely cushion lady for some delightful orders, perhaps I'll drop in to the flower markets and there is sure to be a visit to my favourite little patisserie for a french vanilla tart. Have a beautiful weekend everyone! Kellie xx

Patience, patience!

This divine image reminded me that my lovely little sweet peas still haven't bloomed yet... Fingers crossed they are not too far off. I just adore the fragrance of home grown sweet peas. Kellie xx

Animal print - accessory obsession!

Honestly, I don't know what is with me at the moment, but I cannot, get enough of animal print! Not so much for interiors, but fashion accessories like shoes and bags - im absolutely obsessed... I have been eying off a pair of animal print shoes for a while on Wardrobe.com and since this find, I just am loving it more and more ... The funny thing though with animal print with me, my obsession is likely to disappear at the drop of a hat (hence why I havent taken the plunge with shoes, Im likely to be over them in a flash!). Anyone get hot and cold with certain fashion pieces too? Kellie xx

Left over wallpaper - DIY

I love this DIY project from Shannon Fricke who did this for The Woman's Weekly - the perfect way to jazz up an old piece of furniture whilst making stunning use of those left over wallpaper pieces that you just didn't quite know what to do with! Clever lady she is!

Eggs with style..

How amazing would this setting be for a rustic brunch! Who would have ever thought eggs could look so delightfully pretty! Im also loving the cutlery tied together with charming twine. Stunning inspiration! Kellie xx

Spring like...

As we get closer to springtime in Sydney I can't help but think of beautiful, soft skirts, and light pretty tops. And ballet flats to match. My usual uniform! Kellie xx

Green with envy!

Such a lovely space and anything with a stripe, gets my vote. Im quite loving this kind of green at the moment, a typical apple green! It's quite soothing and calming as well as stylish. Kellie xx

Candy pink - just a little!

For those who like a little, pink, but not too much, this is for you! Just a teeny, weeny pop of candy pink to keep your heat warm. It's quite a lovely room isnt it, and those black chairs are such a surprising but delightful look in the space.

Aren't peonies just amazing as well. Being August in Australia, it's just a few more months before I can have a few weeks of heaven. These are the weeks, I head to the flower markets early, with all the florists, just to try and get the prettiest, most gorgeous bunch! Kellie xx

Feeling rejuvenated!

I'm back from a lovely few days away and I feel rejuvenated!

My two favourite moments from the weekend was lunch at Press Club and also dessert at Il Fornaio. Press Club was just amazing, we had the banquet, the food was incredible and so special and the service was second to none. Il Fornaio was delightful as well, I had the 'Snickers' dessert (yes that incredible one from Master Chef) along with an amazing glass of dessert wine - heaven!

The two experiences were very different, Press Club had such a classy, stylish feel whilst Il Fornaio was rustic, charming and full of personality. I loved the decor in Il Il Fornaio particulary the divine lighting... Sadly being an absolute dessert lover, there is nothing like it in Sydney and will just have to visit Melbourne more often!

I hope everyone has had a delightful few days! Kellie xx
