Saturday chores

I have just visited the flower markets for my regular Saturday morning purchase - i'll show you those a bit later on...

The weather people are telling us that lots of rain is on it's way in Sydney which is kind of good as most of my jobs today include things inside and without the sun shining, there isn't the incentive to waste time doing well, the things I shouldn't be. And, I'm the queen of being distracted and having a terribly short attention span.

I have decided my little hall table needs a quick re-vamp so hopefully I can get that sorted as well!

And lot's of planning for my website that is just about to start being built for my shop. Exciting and frightening all at the same time. Busy busy. Kellie xx

Delightful plans

Looking forward to this weekend. Having Brazilian for dinner tonight then Vietnamese tomorrow night. So delicious... Oh and the usual trip to the flower markets tomorrow morning and perhaps a spot of baking some time too. Oh, and spending lots of time planning - planning is good! Hope you have a delightful weekend. xx

Ps. Last few days more my giveaway too!

A universal fabric...

You know, no matter how many times I see the Imperial Trellis fabric, I still adore it. It works a treat here with the white, glossy chairs. It always amazes me how it lends itself to so many styles and interiors but possibly, that's why it's such a stunning success isn't it? Kellie xx

Remember my giveaway here if you haven't already entered. One lucky winner will receive a darling Plum Pretty Sugar robe - yipppeee! xxx

Reader advice... Please?

I've decided it's time to get an digital SLR. And i'm so very excited about it!

Just a slight issue... Which one to get. I'm tossing up between the Canon EOS 5D or 7D. Does anyone have any recommendations or thoughts on what would be a good choice? As you know, I love taking photos of interiors and items around my home. I would love to hear your thoughts? Kellie xx

Rooms & Dress = Lovely

All this Sydney rain over the last day has made me feel the need for some stylish interiors and gorgeous fashion. I cannot remember a time recently when it has rained like it did yesterday... Just didn't stop! Still, it's good for the gardens even if it makes my hair fuzzy and curly. Kellie xx

Doesn't the purple, teal, duck egg blue and bronze work beautifully together in this endlessly gorgeous wedding. All the tiny details thought of, maximised to it's full potential.

More outdoors

Seems Im rather obsessed with outdoors styling. Love the look of the natural light, there isnt anything quite like it really. Even though it's pretty cold in Sydney at the moment, I love nothing more than sitting in the sunshine, the cool wind about but enough sunshine to keep me feeling warm. Perfection. xx

Meeting half way...

I am working on a little project for a client who's husband LOVES green! I have to say I don't mind a mint green but olive green is a colour I find a little harder to work into the home. I thought this was a gorgeous inspiration of working with green and mixing it in with some gorgeous purples, pinks and white. This sort of inspiration will meet the wife with the husband half way! Sunday morning delight

How to spend a Sunday morning? Heading off to my favourite patisserie of course!

I walk in and the lovely staff know my order - a weak long black and french vanilla tart. Hmmm, maybe a custard danish for later too - it is dusted with so much icing sugar that ends up all across my face and in my hair!

Ah then a few laps around the block to work it off those hips later on. Still it was worth it... Kellie xx
