Metallic and mirrors...
How gorgeous is metallic. I adore it {see my DIY table this week for how much}!
I find it ultra feminine but slightly edgy and ever so stylish. And I think it such a versatile look that works really well in a bedroom but is also gorgeous in living spaces too. And I'm still not sick of mirrored furniture, perhaps the finger prints are a bit annoying but the look itself is well worth the extra cleaning if you ask me. Kellie xx
Doing it bold and doing it well...
Colour, colour every where I look... Walls, chairs, candles, flowers, dinnerware, glassware, tables.... And fabulous to match! What a lovely way to celebrate a sunny Friday morning.
I have a lovely weekend planned which includes visiting a client's brand new home to start planning for giving it the Ada & Darcy touch. Can't wait! A weekend couldn't be spent any better... Kellie xx

Quick DIY: An outdoor coffee table at my place
Mum popped by on the weekend for a quick afternoon tea and decided I needed to give our outdoor table a quick DIY facelift. This table has been painted all sorts of colours and this week I have used a Porter's Paint {Duchess Satin /Ambassador Stirling colour) to make it look pretty. The metallic finish is such an interesting look for an outdoor piece but nonetheless I was delighted with the result and was happy to see it sparkling alway in the natural light.
I also couldn't resist showing you that bunch of yellow roses. Such tiny little flowers on each stem but so, so many of them. Think I might have to find more over the weekend. Kellie xx

Sydney peony love - who would have thought!
After complaining about sadly peonies not being in season in Australia {here} look what I ended up finding! A tiny little stall had a bucket or two of peonies blooming away! The fragrance peonies is so amazing, and their beauty just gets better with time as they start to open more and more. What a gorgeous surprise to what feels like a never ended winterish season - that only really just started! Kellie xx

Stunning details
The amazing details in this work absolutely intrigues me. Imagine the hours and patience that would be required to create such stunning textiles and designs. I have seen a cushion by this designer and couldn't resist seeing more of Kthis designer's work and let me just say, I was absolutely not disaapointed. Kellie xx

Cupcake joy at my place...
Here are my lovely cupcakes that I made over the weekend. I made vanilla cupcakes and the pink and aqua/green little cakes have butter cream icing and the creamish coloured one is white chocolate ganache! YUM!
I made so many that I have sent Luke off to work with a container full.... Bet he was popular! Kellie xx

My cupcake recipe book, by colour!
I had lots of questions after my post {here} about what was the cupcake recipe book that was sorted by colour! Well here it is! As you can see, it works through several gorgeous colours and the designs in each colour category.
And let me just say, the recipe's were so simple and they tasted spectacular too. I made so much icing to play around with... I'll show you the little cupcakes tomorrow! Kellie xx

Grey roof and white pannelling - magic!
I saw this gorgeous house in Home Beautiful this month. Whilst the almost all white interior is stunnning to say the least, I was most drawn to the exterior of the home. In particular I adore that dark grey roofing agains the white pannelling and detailing.
Whilst when you look closely, it's very much a simple garden with simple design, the overall openness and fresh feel of the entire property makes this the kind home, one that would be admired by manner... Including myself! Have a lovely and relaxing Sunday xx
