Weekend plans...

I'll be heading off to my favourite Sydney antique haunt full of fabulous finds at fabulous prices this Saturday! I spotted a gorgeous chair that I am going to pick up this week, it needs a little face lift but my Mum will adore the final outcome. Oh and perhaps a little console for me - we'll just have to see!

Also my lovely sister in law Nicole flys in from Toowoomba this evening so i'll be spending a fabulous weekend with her too. Shame her husband Stephen and three divine children can't make it this time but we'll be catching up with them all in April when we fly to Brisbane which I am very much looking forward to... Sparkle heaven

Finally, Louise's gorgeous Moroccan Wedding Blankets are in stock over here at her fabulous online store. You know I adore anything with a sparkle or two so this baby is just my cup of tea! I'm thinking about one for our lounge room, oh and maybe another for the bedroom (the spare room that is). Shopping heaven! That's made my Thursday! Oh right, that means two days from the Weekend... Just the right spot

I spotted this beautiful cushion on the weekend in a little shop in Rozelle. I thought the print was divine and the colours worked beautifully in our newly updated bedroom. Lucky I have such a wonderful and patient husband who couldn't care less about all the pink and bows! Kellie x

Bedside table update

I painted my two lovely bedside tables in a Porter's Paint, in the Duchess Satin range which has a beautiful metallic look in the Ambassador Sterling colour. And I am delighted with the results! This classic colour works well with the new wallpaper and looks divine with our bedding that I will show you tomorrow.

Hello bedroom, hello prettiness!

The wallpaper is complete and looks beautiful. I must say, for this room, I wanted something soft, pretty and peaceful. The mint green is very calming and I do adore the metallic bows that pop up brilliantly.

Oh and here are those gorgeous David Austin roses I found over the weekend. Our bedroom is smelling spectacular...

Next is the chandelier. I'm thinking something quite big and glamourous. Oh and I need to hang some art that we have had stored, looking for the right place to put up. Will keep you posted on that one.

Over the next couple of days I will show you the bedside tables I painted and a fabulous cushion that I found on the weekend. Divine if you ask me!! Kellie xx

Just my kind of place...

I first spotted this fabulous interior at the lovely Leigh's blog ~ Brabourne Farm. It made me think, it's funny how you are always drawn to things that play to your own personal taste. I do try to look for new ideas in different interiors and certainly I adore finding inspiration, but are you like me and then to find you are drawn to inspiration around a similar style to your own personal taste?

Still, besides all of that I adore this decor and styling here. Splashes of colour on a stunning white background work brilliantly in my book! I do also love the lots of things here and there with a neat and fresh overall feel. Kellie xx
