Flower market purchase

My purchases from the flower markets this morning. We slept in so there wasn't lots left, still I was able to find some lovely things. It had been raining and cement floors were very wet... My leather soled shoes ended up being very slippery, I nearly fell flat on my back a couple of times! Could have been very embarrassing... Kellie xx

Ps. These little babies will feature in some of my projects this week. xx

Relaxing as a reward...

What a beautiful outdoor space. I adore painted brick and lovely rustic cushions. Perfect for the weekend to relax and have a glass of wine.

This weekend though won't be too much relaxing for us... We have lots of little projects to finish around our house. Still we will enjoy it all once it's done. And being such a homebody and all it suits me just fine. Kellie x

Pretties for up top!

I can't get enough of these pretties. I also adore all the sparkle and fluff they style them with... If it glistens, well you have won me over. Enjoy Friday. I have the day off! Yippeee! Kellie xx

Hello pretty space, hello pretty dress!

Throw in some fabulous spaces with some gorgeous dresses and that's Wednesday magic I say! Tonight we have a strata meeting with our other fellow residents to well talk about... Well not much really. Imagine how much talk there would be though if I proudly painted our front door a divine yellow just like that first interior.

Of course in our next home there will be absolutely no strata (i'm dying for a house even though I do love our villa) where I can change the world one pot of paint at a time with absolutely no rules! Perhaps I should save my leftover hot pink paint from my coffee table for the front picket fence... The new neighbours would love that!! Kellie xx

Pretty room to come

Bed linen arrived yesterday for the beautifying of our bedroom. Wallpaper to go. Lighting to follow. I am hoping for a lovely place where only wonderful dreams stop by. Of course there is lots of pink, mint green and white. I cannot wait to see the end result! Kellie xx

My newest DIY plan (& the PARTY at my house)!

I was planning just showing you the newest paint for my newest DIY project today. Just a baby size project this time although aren't these colours just beautiful. I will start my new project tonight once I tidy up a few things (that you will see in just a second).....

Now, more about this party at my house. Well my two innocent little puppy dogs you see (just there below) decided today would be a perfect day for a party. And I wasn't invited....

You see this wonderful party I wasn't invited to involved lots of toilet paper, toys and my shoes! Yikes. That will teach me for accidently leaving the bedroom door open. Now off to tidy the mess up and vacuum those poor floors.

Ps. Stay tuned for the update on my newest paint project!

My kind of caravan...

Of course if I was heading off in a gorgeous caravan full of lovely cupcakes I would be in heaven. Why is it though, that my cupcakes never look that perfect. Still it's something to aim for!

First day of Autumn...

Today is the first day of Autumn.

The first day my flowers start to shy away and hide over winter.

Here are some little pretties that are sitting on my hall table welcoming people as they pop in. Kellie xx

Homely dreams

d
I was reading the latest copy of Country Style about a woman who left the city and moved to the Sunshine Coast. Her home was tucked away in the beautiful mountains, with a fabulous water view as well. And she owns one of my favourite stores in Noosa - Talloh!!

Luke and I often talk about selling up and moving to the Noosa region. I adore the place and I think it would suit our lifestyle and future plans. Next thing though is I have to convince Mum to want to do the same. I'm not sure she thinks she would cope with the summer heat. Personally I think you adapt to your surroundings... Right!?
I found this beautiful home. Of course I am not showing you the interior as I would want to make my mark on that although the exterior and the overall feel of the home is just what I adore. Of course that massive pool really clinches the deal!

Now back to my convincing tactics!! Kellie x

A gorgeous table concept...

My friend Sarah is getting married in the New South Wales Hunter Valley. She asked me to source ideas for her tables - which of course I was delighted to. I thought this concept was beautiful, especially mixed with fabulous flowers, ornate vases and vintage lace table cloths. I think we have have a winner here! Kellie xx

Pretty papers

I saw lots of beautiful stationary today.

Perhaps I should write more hand written notes than sending an email...
