A day time flicker...

I do love on Saturdays to have my candles burning. The soft fragrance is a nice way to kick start the weekend. I actually prefer candles burning during the day rather than the night as for me, I find them so much more elegant that way. Kellie xx

Time to celebrate...

Thank goodness work is done for the week. It was very, very busy. Now me time, oh and Luke time, Lily time and Molly time. And that's so good. Kellie xx

Stationary or art?

I didn't really used to appreciate cards although, my best friend Kate, was always one for buying lovely cards when she spotted them and would save them up for a special, rainy day. Now though, I am starting to see them in the same light as Kate. They say alot. I do love the idea of them being a piece of art, you want them to be special, right? Kellie xx

Lots to think about

I feel like I have lots to think about.

Something new needed to wear in the coming weeks.
How i'm going to style our table for our dinner party.
How i'm going to create more time for making things by hand.
Lots to do. But things I love.

Have a beautiful Thursday. Kellie xx

Two little darlings...

I thought I would give you a quick update on how the girls are going.

Firstly, excuse Lily and her haircut, Luke took her to the doggy day spa on the weekend and requested 1 cm all over (ears and head included). I thought she was getting a trim on her body to stay cool, imagine my surprise when she came home looking like a grey hound!! Look at her poor ears - all that gorgeous hair is gone! I told Luke under no circumstances when we have children is he taking them for a hair cut, I can imagine our daughter, who wanted a trim of her long locks and coming back with a number one all over just like Lily!

Little Molly is going well too, she wasn't lucky enough to have a haircut on the weekend so is still looking like a cavalier. She is fully of personality. She isn't quite old enough to climb down from a chair etc, if we leave her and she thinks we have forgotten to get her down, she absolutely lets us know with one bark as if to say, "hey guys, what about me!?". Very sweet. Kellie xx

4 little owls sitting in a tree...

How adorable are these vase owls! I would love one in every colour. So very cute.

I could move them around my home, depending on how I was feeling. With a little bunch of different flowers in each one. Gorgeous!! Kellie xx

Something peachy, something green, something nice!

What a divine use of a very soft palette. The peaches and elegant greens work beautifully on the earthiness of the surroundings. Loving the elegance with the rows of chandeliers! Beeaauutiful!! Kellie x

Happy Australia Day!

It's Australia Day today. And the sun is shining. We are off to take our little four legged, furry babies to the dog cafe for some play time. I thought I would celebrate Australia Day by showing you some lovely Australian flora. It's not my usual pretty arrangement but it is Australia Day and given the heat we have been experiencing, these hardy little babies are the only thing that will stay alive in my home at the moment. Have a wonderful day! Kellie xx

The little details of our dream bedroom

The wallpaper is on it's way. Now it's all about finding the little bits and pieces that will give our bedroom that bit of pizazz! I hope to make use of little bunches of flowers, old and favourite books and a stunning chandelier as a starting point. Then there is the soft and pretty linen and beautiful prints. Surely only the best dreams will happen here! Agree!? Kellie xx

This time of year...

I adore this time of year. The Australian Tennis Open is on all the time to keep us occupied. Especially the night time matches - that go for hours!

Ps. Thank you to everyone who made suggestions to where I could find some lovely cushions yesterday. If you have any more suggestions, I would love you to drop a comment, or even at the cushion post here!

Where can i buy lovely cushions!?

Can anyone out there let me know where I can find pretty cushions? I went on a hunt this morning in Sydney and couldn't find a thing. The thing is, I don't want something stock standard, I would love ones that are feminine, pretty colours, perhaps some detailing. Doesn't sound like that difficult a task but in Sydney it is at the moment. I would even purchase ones online but even that is proving a dead end. Has anyone got any suggestions for me? Kellie xx
