Hello Aussie!
I saw this over at Decor 8 - it's by the fabulous stylist Shannon Fricke who is also an Aussie like me. It is one fabulous shot (no bias at all), the styling here is just perfect. It did also remind me that my flowers are still chargrilled in the garden from all the scorching sun and there isnt a decent flower in sight. Flower markets it is for me this Saturday. Really, really early to get the pick of them! Luke, pack your bags, we're off to the markets for a 5am arrival! Kellie xx

French antiques - just a stone throw away!
This fabulous shop moved closer to our home - just down the road actually! Ah such stunning french antique furniture. Here are some of my favourites...
This chandelier would look perfect in our bedroom. Ah imagine it all cleaned up, sparkling away!
I adore this console. This would look perfect in our living area, just near our our dining table. I have lots of my ginger jars to display here with a stunning bunch of pretty flowers!

Now i certainly don't love the fabric here, but the chair its self is gorgeous. Imagine this chair in a stunning bright floral print, something full of pink, blue and aqua. Mmmm.
Ah and this mirror in our entry way, just over our little side table. So divine.
Visit the shop online here. x

The meaning of flowers...
Its a little bit fuzzy although when you click it, it should make it much clearer for you to read. I adored reading the meaning of various flowers. I laughed when hydrangea said perseverance as that is definitely not one of my strengths! Kellie xx
Ps. Seems I cant get the image to become bigger.... Hmmmm. Perhaps go visit the source. Its very sweet. x

I'm officially connected!
Well hello, now I can browse fabulous blogs all day long. It also means I can read all your lovely comments when they come through each day. Keeps me motivated on what is important to me. And I can connect with you via email - hallelujah. Need any advice, tips, thoughts? Email adaanddarcy{at}gmail{dot}com I love my new little Blackberry! I call it, ah, the newest edition to the family! Kellie xx
Ps. Oh, and here is a gorgeous picture our dog walker Brooke sent me today. It's Lily, Molly and their buddy Misha, waiting for a special treat. And did I tell you Molly won puppy preschool homework again tonight - this time she was the fastest to lay down for 5 seconds! Yay Molly! We were proud parents!!

11 months to go...

Fancy peonies being over for another year. How very sad... My northern hemisphere buddies, please post lots and lots of the darlings when they are blooming. I will then look forward to when I can have them in my home again! I actually asked about growing them and I was told, the chances of them flowering in your location are about one in one million. Not good odds I decided and thought the flower markets were a much easier and stress free option. Kellie xx

Just a little of time and detail...
Such magical colours! These sugar cubes are all hand made at Such Pretty Things. You know, I love the look of tiny, elegant delights such as this although as I have such poor patience (and at times attention to detail), creating such little beauties seems like such a challenge. Perhaps though, on a rainy day, I should give it a shot. Any one else suffer from the disorder of serious lack of patience?! Kellie xx

Things are busy at the moment...
Hello everyone! Sorry I have been so bad at visiting your blogs to see what fabulous things you have found and letting you know my thoughts. Things have been very busy around here at the moment. My dad is in hospital so between visiting him, making sure Molly & Lily get lots of love, seeing other family, attending bits and pieces and having a spare minute or two for us, things have really gotten away. I hope to be back on track next week. Kellie xx
