What floats your boat?

What floats your boat? Stripes perhaps? Or even a home by the sea?

It's interesting to see what really excites one person bores the brains out of another... At work today I told the girls I was heading off to look at wallpaper and fabrics and the response was "ah boring" ! For me, I could spend hours looking around at the unlimited options, thinking about ways I could use the gorgeous colours and prints, making little notes for the future. .

So what really floats your boat? x

  3. I guess that it all depends on what is going on in your life at the time. Obviously, people aren't interested in decorating if they haven't got their own home...or don't want to talk about children if they haven't got any.
I love interior design shops and grain sack cushions at the moment but that could all change tomorrow !!!! XXXX

  4. I totally understand what you are saying - i could talk about decorating non-stop but I know a lot of people aren't so 'homely' and into that sort of thing. That's why blogging is good!

  7. Can't get enough of stripes at the moment and a soft spot for whitewashed cane. Peonies will always float my boat, they are so perfect. I don't have ANY friends that are into home decorating so these blogs are an absolute life line for me!

  10. I guess it is a good thing we all are different...life would be boring if we all lived in blue houses and had green cars. I am on your side...wallpaper all the way...how can that be boring!!!??

  16. Anything to do with decor gets me going. Furniture, carpet, paint colours, wallpaper, tiles....it's all good for me. But the thing that really gets my interest is FABRIC. Doesn't matter what sort: curtains, upholstery, dresses. Fabric's my fav.
